Caregiver Needed: Rancho Santa Fe, CA (ALS Client)

Compensation: $22–$24 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

About the position:
We're looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver to support a gentleman in Rancho Santa Fe who is living with ALS. This is a mornings-only shift to start, but as his condition progresses the hours will increase, so we're looking for someone who is in this for the long haul and can grow with him.

Responsibilities:

• Morning routine support

• Safe transfers out of bed using a Hoyer lift (experience required)

• Assist with showering

• Assist with toileting and incontinence care

• Assist with dressing and grooming

• Personal hygiene support

• Watchful supervision for safety and fall prevention

Requirements:

• Experience with Hoyer lift transfers (required)

• Experience with ALS, progressive neurological conditions, or similar mobility-support care

• Comfortable assisting with all aspects of personal care, including showering and toileting

• Physically able to perform safe transfers and repositioning

• Reliable transportation and punctuality for early morning shifts

• Must pass a background check and provide references
