Duration: 4 Years (possible extension)

Job Summary

Performs skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance and repair work, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, HVAC, and general mechanical repairs to maintain safe and efficient facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect buildings and equipment to identify maintenance issues and perform necessary repairs.
Perform painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and minor HVAC repairs.
Maintain and repair building systems, equipment, doors, windows, and fixtures.
Conduct routine facility inspections and preventive maintenance.
Operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment safely.
Assist with minor construction, landscaping, janitorial, and restoration projects.
Coordinate maintenance projects and work assignments with the Facility Supervisor.
Communicate with vendors, customers, and facility users regarding maintenance needs.
Follow safety regulations and established maintenance procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of progressively skilled labor or trade experience, including at least two years in building maintenance.
Valid driver's license.

Required Skills

General knowledge of building maintenance and repair.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Basic skills in painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot, and complete repairs.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
