About This Role

Full-Time Nursery Educator/Caregiver


7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.



What You'll Do

Feed infants on demand with bottles and food, change diapers frequently, and monitor safe sleeping for naps (check every 13 minutes).


Respond to all the baby’s needs so they feel safe and secure.

Do tummy time (must sit with all babies that cannot crawl).

Keep parents up to date with the Procare app (diapers, feedings, bottles, nap times, touches at nap time, activities, any milestones you witness, any supplies children need, etc.)


Create a monthly activity calendar (art projects, age-appropriate activities, read and bubbles, etc.). Review the TN-ELDS curriculum book to include AT LEAST one TN-ELDS lesson plan for each week on the calendar.


Keep the room/bathroom clean and sanitize toys.

Track all classroom/cleaning supplies and restock as needed.



Requirements

Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Be 18 years of age or older.

Be able to pass a background check (fingerprinted).


CPR and First Aid (must be completed within 90 days of hire date; help given).



Nice To Haves

Access to a computer/laptop or iPad to complete the DHS-required training.
