They will also be responsible for ensuring superior and consistent levels of customer service to meet company and team objectives which include, but are not limited to: positive customer interaction and order processing. Must be able to work overtime, close month-end discrepancies, and work and report to Team leadership in Irvine.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;Essential Job Function:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Process domestic and international Warranty Parts - RGAs using an SAP computer system. Average order processing is 6K per month with an average of 8K quantity lines. Each order requires processing within 2 minutes.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Virtual network processing orders to distribution centers such as Toano, Virginia, and Ontario Canada.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Work with Technical Support staff to review the accuracy, pull more customer contact information, may need to request a new order as appropriate.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Prepares FedEx shipping labels for shipping and return label processing using a Zebra FedEx Parcel printer.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Prepare and upload commercial invoices onto FedEx Ship Manager.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Update annual pricing via FedEx Ship Manager.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;May on occasion supplement part numbers due to back order items. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Comply with and maintain Warehouse cut-off times.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Answer telephone hunt group calls relating to Warranty Order shipping inquiries from customers. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Work with FedEx Domestic and International teams to resolve shipping issues related to non-deliverable locations, address corrections, and lost or damaged shipments.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Files FedEx Parcel Claims and follows up with customer for resolution.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Act as the liaison between the company and vendors to coordinate the shipping of returns and work with 3rd party shipping companies.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Enforce departmental return policies and seek advice and/or from the Returns Administration team.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Produce nightly RGA reports to Tech Support Manager, and Account Mgmt. team leaders.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Maintain proper update and filing of orders and shipping documents. &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Respond to customer inquiries by fax, phone, and email.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Report any back orders, shortages, and escalations to Acct. LACHC seeks an individual with strong accounting skills and experience and the ability &amp; drive to take on increasing levels of responsibility and to grow with our organization operating in the increasingly challenging FQHC homeless health care services sector in the Skid Row community. As Controller, you will lead the financial accounting department. You will supervise two staff accountants and oversee payroll, accounts payable and accounting functions. You will perform month-end general ledger closing, financial reporting, budgeting, grant accounting &amp; reporting, year-end audit activities, and tax filings and compliance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Manage and oversee payroll, accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and grant accounting functions. Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations prepared by accounting department staff.
· Leverage strengths of accounting department team members, help to clarify roles &amp; responsibilities, and develop &amp; implement training programs to maximize and reach optimal individual and organizational goals.
· Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement) in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
· Present monthly financial statements and analysis to the C-Suite and Leadership Teams.
· Present financial statements and analysis to the Board Finance Committee at monthly meetings. Present financial statements to the Board of Directors as requested by Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or President/CEO.
· Prepare periodic budgetary and financial reports and analysis; perform variance analyses of monthly results of operations versus budgeted amounts; and recommend and/or initiate cost saving measures to CFO and President/CEO.

<li>Prepare required periodic financial and statistical reports for grant funding sources and governmental agencies to comply with grant or regulatory requirements. Coordinate and ensure timely submission of all financial monitoring reports and information required by grantors. Assist Director of Grants Management in preparing the necessary financial reports and information for timely and successful completion of grant applications.</li>

· Coordinate with the Director of Grants Management and Grant Project Directors to allocate employee salary/wages to federal, state and non-governmental grants in accordance with grantor agreements.
· Manage and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of the annual external financial statement and Uniform Guidance audits and filing of IRS Form 990 and CA 199 tax returns.
· Prepare financial reports for the Uniformed Data System (UDS) and OSPHD annual filings by the agency.

<li>Handle the preparation, coordination, and submission of all financial reporting requirements including Medicare/Medicaid Cost Reports, FQHC Cost Reports, Annual Medi-Cal PPS Reconciliations, and other required financial data for the Bureau of Primary Health Care, State Department of Health Care Services and other agencies.</li>
</ul>
· Maintain internal control systems and safeguards for receipt of revenues, program budgets and actual expenditure of funds. Assure the financial integrity of LACHC by ensuring that proper controls are in place to reduce financial risks.
· Develop and implement recommendations for continuous improvements of financial and accounting operations, including information technology and software applications.
· Implement and monitor compliance with current accounting policies and procedures. Analyze and develop alternatives for changing policies and procedures that promote efficiency, internal control, and quality in accounting processes and inform financial decision making.
· Prepare annual organizational and departmental budgets by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data and preparing necessary supporting schedules. Work with CFO to present budgets to C-Suite, Finance Committee and Board of Directors for approval.
· Maintain and monitor departmental budgets throughout the year. Meet periodically with department heads to offer direction in budgetary management.
· Work with CFO to manage organizational cash flow forecasting and investing available funds in short-term fixed income securities to maximize income and meet future cash disbursement needs.
· Assist CFO in complying with loan agreement, financial covenants, and quarterly financial reporting. Partner with CFO in communicating with and maintaining good relationships with lenders.
· Monitor federal and state payroll tax filings and compliance by third-party payroll processor (currently Paylocity). Prepare annual property tax exemption filings and other required tax filings with federal, state and local governments.
· Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
· Perform other duties as assigned by CFO or President/CFO.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

CPR certification required.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Require proficient knowledge of office equipment. Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Windows &amp; Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and accounting systems required. Experience with Financial Edge accounting system a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Familiarity with medical terms and operations of clinics useful. Proficiency in English required. Bi-lingual/Bi-literal Spanish a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
