We are looking for a Class A or B CDL Driver to operate manual field equipment and support our slip-form concrete paving operations. This role involves driving commercial trucks, loading and unloading materials, performing daily equipment inspections and maintenance, and working overnight. 
 
Additionally, the CDL Driver will assist with general labor tasks on-site. Depending on project needs, this position requires flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
 
While based in Nashville, TN, this role may require up to 100% travel to job sites in Charlotte, NC; Columbia, SC; and other future site locations TBD. 
 
What You'll Do:

<li>Strong organization skills and attention to detail.</li>

PROJECT MANAGER- COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION
The candidate must have a proven track record of successfully managing new commercial building and renovation construction projects. A successful candidate will have served as a construction project manager on contracts with a size over $500,000.00
Project Managers provide overall management direction to multiple projects, established project objectives and policies, maintain liaison with prime client contracts, and monitor construction and financial activities through administrative direction of on-site construction manager.
The effective Project Manager will also serve as a technical source of information on project plans, specifications, requests for information and shop drawings. Duties and Responsibilities

Review and monitor all design and construction phase documents for conformance with the budget, schedule and prime contract.

Prepare instructions and coordinate bidding process; review subcontractor bids for conformance, qualifications, and financial factors.

Confer with the Project Superintendent and others to provide input for the pre-bid and master construction schedule. Ensure the preparation of the detailed construction phase schedule.

Ensure all project estimates are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the project. Become familiar with each estimate to fully support its integrity.

Negotiate and prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, and change order requests to be reviewed by the Senior Project Manager.

Create and monitor team schedules
</li>
<li>
Monitor the financial responsibility and past performance of subcontractors prior to award of any subcontract. Conduct subcontractor pre-award checklist.
</li>

Review the subcontract pre-billing worksheet and monthly progress payment request; and monitor payment receipts and disbursements.
</li>
<li>
Monitor all outstanding owner change orders and change order requests.
</li>
<li>
Control job cost, information and analysis.
</li>
<li>
Adhere to all traffic laws and worksite rules
</li>
<li>
Prepare monthly project forecasts, cost reports and construction billing forecasts.
</li>

Assure all project activities and closeout efforts are executed after proper planning has been done to conform to standards and specifications.

Supervise, mentor and perform regular performance evaluations for all employees assigned to this position.

Communicate regularly with team members to ensure work specifications are met and any problems are addressed immediately

Process daily work tickets, material invoices, receipts and delivery tickets and input data in system and project specific invoices
</li>

Manage multiple crews on different projects.
</li>

Work side by side with employees in the field as needed.
</li>

Prepare and/or oversee billing to the owner and ensure timely receipt of same. Prepare a monthly invoice log to track the status of all invoicing to the owner.

Maintain ethical business transactions and conduct in all aspects of work performance.

Adhere to OSHA and MOSHA Safety Standards, comply with Company Safety Policy

Follow appropriate protocol for reporting incidents timely to Safety Director and management

Education, Training, and Experience
*Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field or any combination of education and 5+ years’ experience that demonstrates depth of knowledge of commercial building project management
*Experience with project controls
*Minimum OSHA 10 certification; OSHA 30 preferred
*Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, and applicable Federal and State construction regulations.
*Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Google Docs. Knowledge of Viewpoint helpful.
*Experience with government contracts and certified payroll preferred.
Work Context
* At times may work near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
* Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively climb, jump, sprint or throw an object.
*Ability to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 lbs, walk, stand, or sit for long periods of time.
* Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
* Noise level is generally loud when on the jobsite
* Normal work hazards associated with construction environment when on jobsite.
* Must be able to quickly move arms and legs.

Requires precautions and/or protective gear or clothing to potential risk from printing machinery and bindery equipment. Certain commodities may be present and where certain specific safety precautions must be observed.
Remote, hybrid, and onsite positions the employee bears travel costs to nearest NASA Center for badging and issue of NASA IT equipment.
Education and Previous Work Requirements: 
Associate of Arts or Science in Printing, Graphics, or related field, plus 2 years related experience or equivalent related experience. Must hold and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
Experience:
Full knowledge of the job and the ability to work independently and to prioritize work. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job and practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Limited supervision at this level and no instruction needed on routine work, and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in full production printing environment with knowledge operating Canon printers, wide format printers, bindery equipment including drill press, industrial cutter, laminators. Able to trouble shoot hardware and software errors, self-starter, and team oriented.
