The candidate selected will perform various RF/EM test and measurement tasks for products, systems, components, or modifications as part of an innovative and dynamic engineering team in Colorado Springs, CO. SARA’s EMP Survivability and Effects team supports the testing and evaluation of the nation’s most critical assets, including C4I fixed-ground based installation, C4I mobile systems, airborne platforms and military surface ships. Flippo Construction Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Underground Utilities Foreman to join our team. The Foreman is responsible for keeping their crew running smoothly and efficiently from the standpoint of coordination and facilities. The Foreman is responsible for the efficient use of the Company's resources, people and equipment, assigned to his control. The Foreman is also responsible for maintaining good communication, morale and a safe, quality job with pride. This position reports to the General Foreman and/or Superintendent.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Supervise crew members conducting installation and repair of underground water and sewer pipe.</li>
<li>Monitor production and cost daily.</li>
<li>Perform work activities within productions budget.</li>
<li>Assist Superintendent and General Foreman with job start up sheets and schedules.</li>
<li>Coordinate job requirements of company resources with Superintendent to insure optimum use.</li>
<li>Maintain progress of work activity in accordance with the progress schedule to insure contract completion within the required time regardless of other considerations.</li>
<li>Assist the Superintendent in overseeing and coordinating subcontractor's work. Subcontractor to perform on schedule in accordance with subcontract.</li>
<li>Maintain positive jobsite relations with owner, subcontractors and prime contractor.</li>
<li>Maintain job diary. Enter in diary instructions from Owner, daily activity and location, communications with subcontractors, anything unusual.</li>
<li>Coordination with Superintendent/General Foreman regarding production review, activity planning, progress, and compliance with contract documents.</li>
<li>Identify/document changes and notify Superintendent / General Foreman before proceeding.</li>
<li>Take all steps necessary to complete the contract in accordance with the contract provisions.</li>
<li>Notify Superintendent/General Foreman to document completion of milestones in work and final completion of work.</li>
<li>Responsible for daily checks on safety.</li>
<li>Responsible for daily time sheets.</li>
<li>Responsible for daily planning of material, equipment, and labor needs.</li>
</ul>

Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Continuing education in construction is a plus.</li>
<li>Must have a minimum 3 years of experience as a Foreman supervising underground utilities projects.</li>
<li>Ability to read and understand construction drawings and diagrams.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.</li>
<li>Must have a valid driver's license.</li>

The HPEM Division is looking for an exceptionally talented, motivated, and creative EMP Field Technician who has knowledge of carpentry, welding, assembly, assistance in project-based work, etc. to support R&amp;D, rapid manufacturing, and testing activities in Colorado Springs, CO.
