Manages the delivery of all academic advising for undeclared students and leads&nbsp;the development, administration, and evaluation of advising and new cadet transition programs. I. I. General Summary Responsible for overall control of safety and health for all plant aspects including, but not limited to, OSHA and state related safety compliance, team member health and wellness, and workers' compensation. Develop and deliver training and coaching for team members, contractors, and others on safety, security, and environmental issues to ensure skills competence, understanding of policies and procedures, and to maintain compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local regulations, directives, standards, policies, and procedures. 1. Develop and deliver safety, health, and environmental orientation to new hires, contractors, and others as required. 2. Conduct annual compliance training. 3. Conduct CPR/AED, first aid, and blood borne pathogen training as required. 4. Create and maintain the Safety Dojo. F. Lead and perform security and disaster protection activities. 1. Conduct periodic inspections of plant machinery, equipment, and working conditions to ensure conformance to appropriate safety and health standards and regulations. I. Maintain accurate daily, weekly and monthly safety and health metrics reporting to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems. J. Lead and manage all ISO14001 and related environmental activities. III. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Education: • Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Certification as Occupational Safety and Health Technician (OSHTEC), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). Experience: • Minimum of 4 years diversified experience in safety, loss prevention, emergency response management, consulting, supervision, and administration in a manufacturing environment required (preferably automotive). • Experienced in emergency response and be able to maintain current First Aid and CPR certificates. • Previous exposure to a multicultural office environment preferred. • Toyota Tier 1 or other OEM Tier 1 automotive parts production experience is a plus. Job Duties:
Successful colleagues will provide evidence of effective teaching and clinical work as well as be prepared to offer courses in both the didactic and clinical years. Primary responsibilities will be to didactic year students; however, all principal faculty will be fully integrated into the clinical year of the program and will provide graduate level instruction in all phases of the program. This position will assist the program director in the review, planning and development of the program. The candidate will participate in the accreditation process including ongoing course assessments, student assessments, remediation, faculty/staff assessments, program assessments, competency evaluations, accreditation site visits and data collection. This position actively participates in student recruitment and admissions (both undergraduate and graduate physician assistant studies) and student advising (both undergraduate and undergraduate). The position includes emphasis on service and scholarly activities for one’s own growth and development and the benefit of the institution and program. About the Positions
To meet areas of university strategic growth in global graduate education and impact, New hires will join an excellent, experienced and dynamic faculty and staff highly committed to exceptional education and student experience, the School for Professional Studies at Saint Louis University is seeking multiple, full-time faculty in the areas of information systems, cybersecurity, analytics, research methods and related disciplines.
All are open-rank, non-tenure track full-time faculty positions, with a nine-month contract running from August to May (renewed annually, with multi-year contracts possible after the first year). Candidates will teach up to seven graduate-level courses during the daytime with the bulk of the teaching occurring on campus. However, there is the possibility to teach select online sections if need dictates. There are also potential summer, flexible, online teaching opportunities.
As these are primarily teaching roles, research is supported but not required. However, active researchers and those with grants may be eligible for a reduction in teaching load. For interested faculty, potential or partial reduction in teaching load to maintain industry/professional practice in related area of expertise is an option. The Position: The Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (Provost &amp; VPAA/SA) provides vital, creative, and adaptable leadership to the academic enterprise at Southern Oregon University (SOU). This position plays a key role in institutional planning and strategy, in forging community partnerships, and in advancing SOU’s presence in the region, state, and nation. The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA has a significant duty in representing SOU to the Southern Oregon University Board of Trustees, engaging with the Oregon Provosts Council, and participating in the Oregon Council of Presidents. This person is responsible for articulating a vision and direction for Academic and Student Affairs and effectively communicating that vision to the campus community. The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA oversees all of the academic schools at SOU and the services that support them, as well as the university’s portfolio of student support and success services. Responsibilities:

<li>Lead Academic Affairs, establish and communicate a strong academic vision while promoting a culture of shared governance (40%) The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA is the Chief Academic Officer of SOU and provides leadership and robust support for the faculty, academic schools, and the library at SOU. Duties include, but are not limited to: support and promote teaching, scholarship, and community engagement activities; administer contracts; supervise and evaluate the academic directors and faculty personnel roster; launch faculty development programs; assess recruitment and hiring priorities; oversee the promotion and tenure process, faculty appointments, merit salary increases, and sabbatical leaves; respond to faculty grievances; support program review and assessment of the learning enterprise; guide various programs including instructional services, off-campus and continuing education programs, summer session, inter-institutional programs, various galleries and collections, and all that is necessary to support coursework, research, and intellectual exploration associated with the university’s intellectual life; give direction to research, grants and sponsored programs, and other creative endeavors; maintain effective channels of communication with the President, faculty, and Faculty Senate; serve as strategist in the faculty collective bargaining enterprise; and create a culture of collective ownership and accountability while collaborating on decision-making processes quickly and effectively.</li>
<li>Lead Strategic Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (25%) The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA is the Chief Enrollment Officer responsible for the executive leadership, strategic planning, and administrative oversight for all operations and support functions associated with the recruitment, retention, and engagement of students. Duties include, but are not limited to: foster creative thinking that builds on SOU’s strong tradition as a student-centered institution; guide strategic efforts to address issues related to student development, health and wellness, success, equity, and retention; address issues related to the review, implementation, improvement, and enhancement of policies, procedures, and program-specific services; and oversee Enrollment Services, Student Success, and Admissions and Recruitment to ensure efficiency in operations that drive enrollment growth that aligns with institutional goals.</li>
<li>External Outreach (10%) The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA partners with the president to implement SOU’s mission, vision, core values, and strategic directions in a manner that realizes growth that enhances student learning opportunities and positively impacts financial and economic development. This position develops and cultivates public-private partnerships with local, regional, and statewide business and industry.</li>
<li>Accreditation (10%) The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA administers activities related to the accreditation and the external review of SOU and its schools, departments, and programs. This position ensures compliance with various academic disciplines and their respective accreditation agencies.</li>
<li>Budget &amp; Resources (10%) The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA designs effective budget models for Academic and Student Affairs. This position analyzes financial information to include revenues and expenditures to ensure all operations are within budget; develops long-range planning and budget priorities; and provides supervision, evaluation and professional development for administrative and support staff.</li>

The Vice President for Research serves as a member of the university's executive leadership team, reporting directly to the President, and works closely with the Provost and other members of the President’s Cabinet. As the senior research officer of the university, the Vice President for Research is responsible for collaborating with relevant constituencies to develop and implement a vision, plan, and policies to guide and expand the university's research portfolio, and work with faculty to oversee critical aspects of the university's research infrastructure and operations.
Direct reports to the Vice President for Research currently include assistant/associate vice presidents, directors, staff members within the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR). The Division of Research consists of Sponsored Programs Administration, the Office of Research Compliance, the Division of Laboratory Animal Research, and the Office of Environmental Health and Safety. Four of the university’s 29 centers and institutes also report to the Vice President for Research.

Development Director, Individual Giving and Major Gifts

Hourly Rate Start - $19.75 with a shift premium of $1.50. Wage increase every six months that tops out at $25.75 after 48 months. I. General Summary: Under general supervision, oversees the quality control operations during the designated shift which includes maintaining the overall plant quality system plus daily job assignments. Directs Team Members in assigned manufacturing area in the execution of the group's responsibilities. Manages group as an operational unit and responsible to accomplish company goals and targets in accordance with all company policies, manufacturing standards and methods, and quality standards for safety, product quality, customer satisfaction, accuracy, productivity, cost reduction, housekeeping, efficiency, training, teamwork, and morale. II. Essential Job Functions: General A. Function as a first-line leader over team members. 1. Monitor and track staffing conditions, work hours and overtime, job rotation, and absenteeism. 2. Understand, execute, and ensure consistent compliance with all company rules, policies, and practices, and takes appropriate corrective action when warranted, in accordance with the terms of the Team Member Handbook. 3. Utilize Toyota Production System (TPS) techniques to standardize current/new processes and methods, reduce process variation, identify waste, and methodically eliminate waste. 2. Develop standardized work procedures by designing and/or documenting the best work sequence for each process. 3. Direct the work of Team Members by assigning/re-assigning work and analyze production requirements based on current work situation and production schedules. 4. Direct floor activities through consistent application of Toyota Boshoku Business Practices (TBBP) to ensure all aspects of manufacturing are effective and correct sub-standard situations. 5. Perform the essential job functions of team members as necessary to maintain efficient, stable, and continuous operations. C. Utilize knowledge and skills to maintain the highest level of quality and efficiency possible. 1. Ensure quality goals and standards are met and know how to use the quality feedback loops and systems and escalation procedures. Confirm that team members use the quality systems correctly. 2. Initiate investigation and containment activities. 3. Troubleshoot daily quality, safety, and production issues. 4. Be proactive in predicting abnormalities and finding innovative solutions to correct. D. Lead continuous improvement activity for assigned area. 1. Participate in the setting of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets including safety, quality, scrap, etc. as a method of continuous improvement. 2. Maintain, monitor, and update department and KPI board and graphs, daily, and initiate continuous improvement activities. 3. Initiate, coordinate, and participate in safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvement projects. 4. Lead the implementation of team members' ideas and suggestions and management directed initiatives. E. Maintain a safe working environment for all team members. 1. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and company safety policies and procedures. 2. Lead, perform, and/or participate in ergonomic exercises, 5S housekeeping, accident investigation, and safety audits and related activities. 3. Maintain knowledge of procedures concerning Hazardous Waste, Spill Response, and Plant Security. 4. Monitor safety and health of team members to ensure their well-being. F. Train and coach team members to maintain productivity and quality standards, in TS19649, ISO 14001, environmental, safety, quality, job performance, setups, trouble shooting, and continuous improvement. 1. Orientate and oversee all training of team members and assign experienced and/or certified trainers to perform new team member training and cross training as needed. 2. Maintain, plan, and prepare department instruction manuals. G. Collect, record, and analyze information while maintaining documentation regarding the activities in the assigned area as defined by company policy, procedure, or practice. 1. Maintain specified records, files and logs of department/shift activities such as production, production problems, parts shortages, scrap, quality, maintenance, etc. (manual and computer) as required. Perform other various administrative duties. 2. Monitor and maintain team member time, attendance, and training records. H. Communicate frequently with internal contacts on various issues. 1. Through daily communication meetings, keep team members informed on issues relevant to them and encourage two-way communication. 2. Maintain daily and/or frequent communication with upstream and downstream groups/areas and support departments to ensure efficient and stable operations in a team-based environment. 3. Coordinate communications between shifts for assigned area(s). III. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Education: • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. • Associate's degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: • Minimum three years of relevant manufacturing experience required. • Automotive industry experience preferred with parts production, quality, or production control experience a plus. • Working knowledge and experience with TPS and Production Efficiency (PEFF) system preferred.
