Qualification Requirements: Requires a minimum of an earned Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, or relevant psychology field from an accredited university or institution; experience in graduate-level teaching and mentorship, curriculum design, and research; demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in an inclusive manner; exceptional interpersonal skills; outstanding written and oral communication skills; academic accomplishments, reflected by scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals appropriate to the academic rank; and active membership and involvement in scholarly societies.
The successful candidate must be academically qualified for a faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in accordance with SOM and USU academic policies.

Program of Distinction Administrative Assistant

The Department of Africana Studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) invites applications for the position of Associate Professor of African American and African Diasporic Literature with tenure, to begin August 2024. Applicants with research and teaching interests&nbsp;in any aspects of the production and consumption of African American and African Diasporic literary and popular culture with interdisciplinary and intersectional approaches are welcome. We seek an associate professor with a demonstrated record of excellence in scholarship and teaching related to the field of Africana Studies at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a commitment to and record of advocacy on behalf of the field, and who has leadership potential to assume the headship of the department within a couple of years. Preference will also be given to candidates who understand the historic and contemporary Black experience in America and the African Diaspora and are well-versed in critical race studies to provide intellectual and administrative leadership to our interdisciplinary program. Candidates should also have demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive excellence. A Ph.D. in African American Literature and African Diasporic Literature or a closely related field is required, and additional expertise in African American and African Diasporic literature, media, and/or visual culture is preferred. Preference is given to scholars whose scholarship focuses on the explorations of African American and African Diasporic literary and cultural practices, historic and contemporary social justice movements, racial (in)justice, structural inequality, and intersectionality through comparative and transnational lenses. The position is fully located in the Africana Studies Department, with the possibility of teaching courses cross-listed with the English Department and other campus units. This individual will envision a new digital strategy and library technology model for the UMBC faculty, staff, and students. As a member of the Library Executive Council, the Associate Director and Head of Library Technology &amp; Digital Strategies is expected to have knowledge of trends in research and learning in the academic library setting.&nbsp; This individual collaborates with university colleagues to determine how the library can best support emerging research initiatives. The position does not include budgetary responsibility. While working with the UMBC Division of&nbsp;Information Technology (DoIT), this individual advises library leadership on current, new and emerging library&nbsp;applications and knowledge systems that will advance the library’s vision, mission and strategic plan. Elizabethtown College invites applicants to apply for a full-time position of&nbsp;Lecturer in Physician Assistant Studies. There are 2 positions available. Each position is a permanent 12-month faculty position to begin&nbsp;January 1, 2024&nbsp;with regular annual renewal, pending satisfactory performance. The Physician Assistant Program is a graduate program housed within the School of Human and Health Professions, which is grounded in the mission of Elizabethtown College: Educate for Service. Our program provides an integrated curriculum including the art of medicine that will provide students with a transformative educational experience that emphasizes purposeful work, cultivates personal strengths and develops a passion for lifelong learning.
Job Duties:
Successful colleagues will provide evidence of effective teaching and clinical work as well as be prepared to offer courses in both the didactic and clinical years. Primary responsibilities will be to didactic year students; however, all principal faculty will be fully integrated into the clinical year of the program and will provide graduate level instruction in all phases of the program. This position will assist the program director in the review, planning and development of the program. The candidate will participate in the accreditation process including ongoing course assessments, student assessments, remediation, faculty/staff assessments, program assessments, competency evaluations, accreditation site visits and data collection. This position actively participates in student recruitment and admissions (both undergraduate and graduate physician assistant studies) and student advising (both undergraduate and undergraduate). The position includes emphasis on service and scholarly activities for one’s own growth and development and the benefit of the institution and program. Candidates should have a strong interest in designing enriching experiences for students that foster community engagement, holistic views of medicine and deeper understanding of human behavior. The candidate is expected to contribute to an environment that supports diversity, collegiality, teamwork, and inclusive teaching approaches.
The position also requires maintenance of a professional development plan which addresses standard performance expectations in areas of teaching, scholarship, and service, with attention to diversity, equity, accessibility, and justice.
Required Qualifications:
· Graduate of&nbsp;ARC-PA accredited program or other associated accredited program specific to applicant’s discipline · Current&nbsp;NCCPA&nbsp;certification or current certification per applicant’s discipline · Five years or more of clinical experience · At least three years of quality teaching experience in higher education or related experience. Candidates are required to provide evidence of successful academic teaching experience,
