PARK CITY EDUCATION FOUNDATION IS SEEKING A DEVELOPMENTDIRECTOR

About Park City Education Foundation:

For over 30 years, Park City Education Foundation (PCEF) hasfunded and supported educator-powered initiatives that inspire allPark City students to reach their academic and lifelong potential.We do this by infusing $1.5 million annually into the Park CitySchool District to support eight initiatives: preschool, elementaryvisual arts, afterschool, educator and student wellness, real worldlearning, Bright Futures (a program that supports first-generationcollege students), classroom and express grants that supporteducators, and innovation lab (an incubator to workshop conceptsthat shape education).

Position Summary

The Development Director should be an experienceddevelopment professional ready to lead two major fundraisinginitiatives, an endowment campaign and our major giving program,for our organization to galvanize the resources we need to advanceour mission. For this role, we require a Bachelor’s Degree as wellas prior development experience in the major giving space. We alsoexpect that you are skilled at and enjoy building relationshipswith others, specifically with our donors and prospective donorswithin our community, and that you are a strong communicator, bothverbally and in writing. It would be a plus if you have experiencemanaging campaigns, are familiar with our mission, and can producecompelling written and digital materials.

Here is a list of the key areas in which you willprovide support to the organization:

  • Manage PCEF’s endowmentcampaign, Reaching New Heights,including: (75% of your time)
    • updating the case and campaignmaterials;
    • managing the campaigncommittee;
    • managing the entire donor cycle ofengagement for prospective campaign donors, including managing yourown portfolio of donors, planning donor events, and effectivelystewarding current campaign donors;
    • and maintaining the campaign plansuch that the campaign meets its benchmarks in a timely, organized,and effective manner
  • Manage our major donorprogram, ScholarCircle, including: (20% of yourtime)
    • creating the strategy and leading theexecution of the program in collaboration with the Vice Presidentof Advancement;
    • managing your own portfolio ofcampaign and other major donors;
    • managing and staffing the CEO’sportfolio of major donors; and
    • planning prospective donor andstewardship events
  • Support other Development andteam initiatives as needed (5% of your time)
    • attend and support with DevelopmentCommittee meetings
    • attend and support with fundraisingevents
    • other duties as assigned

Position includes the following:

  • Competitive nonprofit salarycommensurate with experience
