Essential Functions:

<li>Responsible for the complete assembly of all estimates on projects assigned to you, for various trades, from the time that plans and specs are issued to bid day. Majority focus is on M.E.P.</li>
<li>Solicit subcontractor and vendor quotations to ensure coverage on all scopes of work</li>
<li>Review all construction documents including instructions to bidders, scope of work, and general conditions</li>
<li>Distribute plans, specifications, and addenda to subcontractors and vendors via company ftp website and/or email</li>

 Primary Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Prepares and maintains comprehensive estimates, budgets, and schedules for a variety of projects.</li>
<li>Assists in determining necessary resources for projects based on cost estimates and budgetary constraints.</li>
<li>Assess existing site conditions such as access to and availability of electricity, water, and other services, as well as on surface topography and drainage.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Review all Scopes of Work, proposal specifications, drawings and photographs, to ensure compliance with building code requirements; clarity of information; consistency between area details and descriptions; and accuracy of quantities and items selected.</li>
<li>Participate in preliminary project review meetings to discuss project details, client background and prevention of future challenges.</li>
<li>Provides continuous project estimating and schedule reviews throughout the project.</li>
<li>Foster effective working relationships with Trades, project consultants and team members at all levels of the organization.</li>
</ul>
Required Experience / Skills:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, civil, mechanical, or related discipline.&nbsp;</li>
<li>10+ years of Estimating experience. Familiarity with Excel, HCSS, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Accubid preferred. </li>
