Job Description

Seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Journeyman Plumber to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems on commercial and industrial projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, code knowledge, and the ability to work independently while supporting project schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Install new plumbing equipment and systems on commercial and industrial construction projects.
  • Perform new construction plumbing installations, including rough-in and final connections.
  • Assemble, install, and repair piping systems for gas, water, and wastewater services.
  • Work with a variety of piping materials, including PVC and cast iron, ensuring proper fit and function.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to plan and execute plumbing layouts.
  • Install and secure piping in underground and overhead locations according to project specifications and codes.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Ensure all plumbing work is plumb, level, and aligned with project and code requirements.
  • Follow safety procedures and site regulations while working on active commercial construction sites.
  • Use personal tools and equipment to complete daily plumbing tasks efficiently and accurately.

Essential Skills& Qualifications

  • Valid journeyman plumbing license.
  • At least 5 years of experience working on new commercial or industrial plumbing projects.
  • Proficiency in installing plumbing systems on commercial and industrial construction sites.
  • Strong pipe fitting skills, including assembling and installing piping systems.
  • Hands-on experience working with PVC and cast iron piping.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Experience installing gas, water, and wastewater piping systems.
  • Ability to perform underground and overhead piping installations.
  • Capability to ensure all installations are plumb, level, and compliant with applicable codes.
  • Ownership and effective use of personal plumbing tools.
  • Solid understanding of safety practices on construction sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $43.00/hr.
