 Minimum Qualifications:

<li>7 years of experience in an Agile environment, with 3 years as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach or similar role required. </li>

Position Summary
The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) currently consists of 16 attorneys working collaboratively to provide a full range of legal services to Columbia University. &nbsp;OGC is seeking an attorney to work primarily on employment related issues in connection with Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC).&nbsp; CUIMC is one of the nation’s largest academic medical centers, and includes the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, School of Dental Medicine, Mailman School of Public Health and School of Nursing. &nbsp;Experience in employment law is required. The Wilkinson Public Library (San Miguel County Public Library District #1) is located in spectacular southwestern Colorado, known for its stunning scenic beauty and a rich, colorful history. The Library District comprises the east end of San Miguel County. From the dramatic San Juan Mountains and Telluride’s world-class skiing in the east to the mesas, farms, and high-desert ranches to the west, San Miguel County (pop. 8,082, 1289 sq. mi.) is geographically and socioeconomically diverse, a state and national treasure. A five-member board of trustees, each appointed by the San Miguel County Commissioners oversees the library district.
Currently, the District has a strong financial position. The 2025 budget anticipates $4.48M in general fund expenditures, supporting 23.35 FTE, and capital expenditures of $1.76M. Projected yearend (2025) fund balances are GF $1.2M and Capital $1.8M. The Colorado State Library ranks the WPL first in the state for per capita library visits and circulation, and third in the state for per capita program attendance.

Manager of Sponsored Projects

PHI’s Senior Workforce Intervention Specialist works to improve job quality for direct care workers by contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of PHI’s practice-based employment and training models. As a part of PHI’s Workforce Innovations Team (WIT), they will specialize in leading engagements related to operationalizing and evaluating meaningful advancement opportunities that expand the direct care career ladder; additionally, they may support programs aimed at strengthening recruitment and retention practices, creating a coaching culture, developing adult-learner centered training, and assessing direct care job quality. Outstanding skills in critical thinking, proactive leadership, written and verbal communication, relationship building, and workforce and organizational development are essential for success in this role. &nbsp;
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Lead the implementation of PHI practice-based job quality interventions, including creating and maintaining work plans and timelines, managing partner relationships, executing project activities, and reporting progress to PHI’s Vice President of Workforce Innovations through verbal and written communication.</li>
<li>Build and manage relationships with numerous strategic workforce partners – including long-term care employers, payors, advocates, and others - to support collaboration and the successful integration of job quality practices.</li>

Warren Wilson receives an annual grant of $2 million from the U.S. Department of Education that helps support the meaningful work experiences in which students engage.
In addition to the 1,100-acre campus classroom, laboratory, and library of natural resources which include managed forests, and native wilderness, students learn on a working farm, running a mixed crop and livestock operation with a commitment to sustainable practices which in turn provides public educational opportunities for the wider community.
Every student at Warren Wilson is also required to do community engagement, where they volunteer in the community. Focused on addressing social and environmental justice issues, Warren Wilson students are supported by the Center for Community Engagement and annually, complete over 50,000 hours with local, national, and global communities.
Leadership &amp; Governance Dr. Damián J. Fernández is the 10th president of Warren Wilson College, assuming leadership on June 1, 2023.
A Cuban immigrant and first-generation college student who grew up in Puerto Rico, Fernández comes to Warren Wilson with more than 30 years of experience in teaching and leadership positions at both private and public institutions.

Fernández’s aspirations for Warren Wilson College include advancing innovative programs that deepen project- and problem-based learning, growing and diversifying enrollment, addressing facilities and other institutional needs, and rethinking the traditional business model of liberal arts colleges.
“Warren Wilson’s foundational commitment to access and its pedagogy of mind, heart, and hand—learning, service, and work—are as compelling now as in 1894,” Fernández said. “Together we will push the boundaries of experiential learning for the 21st century. Warren Wilson will be a leader in the renewal of the American liberal arts college by focusing on excellence, inclusion, innovation, and impact.”

Fernández received his bachelor’s from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, master’s in Latin American Studies from the University of Florida, and Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Miami.

Fernández joins the governance structure of Warren Wilson College which consists of the <a href="https://www.warren-wilson.edu/about/leadership/board-of-trustees/" target="_blank">Board of Trustees</a>, the President, a group of 14 faculty and staff representatives, and the Student Government Association, in addition to committees and working groups created as needed.
