The Behavior Specialist is a caring, positive professional who provides social, emotional and behavioral support, services, and solutions to all campers and staff. Duties &amp; Responsibilities

THE OPPORTUNITY
Brooklyn Justice Initiatives (BJI), the largest operating project of the Center, seeks to re-engineer the experience of criminal court in Brooklyn, New York, by providing judges and attorneys meaningful alternatives to bail, fines, and jail sentences. Operating out of community-based offices, BJI is a team of social service providers, court-based&nbsp; court liaisons, mental health practitioners, compliance specialists, and others who seek to improve the quality of justice. Supervised Release offers an alternative to jail by providing pretrial supervision, case management, and voluntary social services to people charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses, and in doing so, uses an arrest as a window of opportunity to change the direction of a participant’s life, avoiding the harmful effects of incarceration. Program participants are monitored to ensure their appearance at court dates and mandatory programming, and receive referrals to services like job training, drug treatment, and mental health counseling.
BJI is seeking a Clinical Manager for the borough’s Supervised Release Program (SRP). Reporting to the Director of Practice, Programming and Partnerships, the Clinical Manager will oversee SRP Clinicians who provide intake, assessment, evidence-based group and individual programming to address participant needs and court mandates, and crisis support to participants in need. This position leverages clinical, supervisory, and program management experience to support the SRP Clinicians in the execution of their responsibilities. Specifically, the Clinical Manager will provide SRP Clinicians with supervision and case conferencing in both one-on-one and group formats to ensure program offerings and clinical interventions are carried out thoroughly, ethically, and in alignment with the program model and organizational values. Lastly, the Clinical Manager also plays a key role in overseeing quality assurance systems and internal audits for the clinician team to&nbsp; ensure the teams’ compliance with program requirements, court reporting obligations, and adherence to the program model.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The Clinical Manager will ensure effective cross-team communication and collaboration to prioritize comprehensive and aligned service delivery; proactively identify successes, challenges, and opportunities to strengthen programming; create opportunities for meaningful collaboration, and maximize internal and external resources and expertise through a trauma-informed lens.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

<li>Provide weekly supervision and bi-weekly group supervision to SRP Clinicians;</li>

The Mobile Crisis Management Specialist, as a Qualified Professional (QP), delivers in-person crisis intervention and stabilization services under the supervision of a Licensed Professional (LP). This role focuses on supporting beneficiaries with mental health or substance use crises, implementing interventions outlined in the Person-Centered Plan (PCP), and facilitating connections to community resources. The QP ensures compliance with NC Medicaid Clinical Coverage Policy 8A and contributes to the MCM team’s first-responder model.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Respond in-person to crisis calls in community settings, providing triage, de-escalation, and supportive interventions to stabilize beneficiaries (page 35).</li>

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the overall management, operation, maintenance, and administration of one or more Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) public housing development(s) and/or scattered sites properties. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including the established Public Housing Management Assessment Program (PHMAP)and HUD policies, practices, rules and regulations, as well as the policies and procedures of the Philadelphia Housing Authority. Trinity partners with the most recognized Biotech companies in the world in search of Safety, Health and Environmental talent. Trinity is the employer for this role based at an exciting Biotech research site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced junior or mid level EHS professional interested in career development in areas of Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, Sustainability, Croygenics and Biosafety. You will report directly to Trinity with a dotted line to the pharmaceutical research site's EHS Leadership Team. This is a project-based contract position in the greater Boston area with and established research site at a state medical school. The duration of the role is based on the duration of the project, extended in six-month increments. The position will require commuting to multiple Boston area sites. Only local candidates will be considered.
 
The Environmental Health Safety and Environmental Group (EHS) is responsible for implementing programs and policies that comply with all local, state, and federal EHS rules and regulations and continuously strive to reduce the incidence and severity of occupational injury and illness. The EHS department promotes a safe and environmentally friendly work environment through the integration of value-added EHS programs, policies, and services.
 
POSITION OVERVIEW/KEY RESPONSIBILTIES*:
 
The EHS Specialist is responsible for interfacing with all levels of the organization to ensure necessary and sustainable H&amp;S systems, programs, procedures, training, work practices, and controls are developed and implemented to maintain compliance with applicable H&amp;S regulations and address identified risks.
 
Key Functions: 
<ul>
<li>Develop, modify, implement, and maintain health and safety (H&amp;S) policies and procedures to achieve compliance with laws, regulations, and company standards and improve H&amp;S performance.</li>
<li>Keep current on and evaluate the impacts of new and changing H&amp;S regulations, Company H&amp;S Standards, and other requirements affecting the business.</li>
<li>Oversee periodic audits and inspections of operations to assure compliance with company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Support Campus EHS Client(s) assuring Annual Improvement Plans (PASS) are developed, risk assessments are updated annually, Department Risk maps are updated, posted, and accurate, incidents are properly investigated,</li>
<li>Participate in establishing and tracking department goals that will positively impact and add value to the organization. Determine objectives and effectively manage projects in support of goals.</li>
<li>Develop, mentor, and lead Campus workers in the management of work teams to achieve project objectives and department goals.</li>
<li>Influence H&amp;S policy and strategy that is in alignment with the needs of the business.</li>
<li>Liaise with other sites to ensure continuity of H&amp;S compliance programs at the network level.</li>
<li>Develop H&amp;S training programs to ensure effective training of staff at all levels of the organization that is commensurate with expected competencies and meets expected regulatory obligations.</li>
<li>Support Campus projects by implementing the Contractor Management Program</li>
<li>Work with Engineering/Capital Projects to develop an EHS by Design document</li>
<li>Act as an agent of positive change to build an effective H&amp;S culture. Support Manufacturing System elements including, but not limited to +QDCI deployment, Managerial Safety Visits, HSE Metrics reporting and Dashboard, Learning Experience Reporting, etc.</li>
<li>Provide subject matter expertise for H&amp;S technical activities.</li>

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of H&amp;S experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>Solid knowledge of H&amp;S regulations. An H&amp;S Subject Matter Expert</li>
<li>Proven track record in the implementation of H&amp;S compliance programs.</li>
<li>Must have personal vehicle valid drivers license, and willing to commute to multiple locations within the Greater Boston area.</li>
</ul>
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Masters degree preferred.</li>
<li>Understanding of risk assessment and management.</li>
<li>Experience in accident/incident investigation and root cause analysis.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written formats to a wide variety of audiences.</li>
<li>Ability to solve high-level, complex problems and arrive at sound conclusions using available data. Skilled at determining and obtaining needed information for effective decision-making.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills.</li>
<li>Training and experience in incident command, emergency response, HAZMAT, electrical safety, construction safety, and first aid response.</li>
<li>Experience with ISO/OHSAS Management Systems.</li>
<li>Industry Certifications: such as Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist.</li>
<li>More than 2 years’ experience managing H&amp;S staff in a GMP environment.</li>
</ul>
