OCSRI’s main campus is located in Tulsa, OK, with 3 satellite clinics in towns surrounding Tulsa.
The Advanced Practice Hospital Nurse and/or Physician Assistant will work under the direct supervision of highly skilled Oncology Physicians following proper hospital guidelines. Scope of responsibility includes expert practitioner, educator/teacher, care management, consultant, nurse researcher, and nurse leader. May prescribe medication, provide emergency care, and make patient referrals to appropriate license physician. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program for nursing education and successful completion of a Nursing Practitioner/Clinical Nurse Specialist program. Experience in oncology nursing post MSN preferred. Experience and knowledge in the management of the physiologic and psychological effects of cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current CPR certification required.
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
