Position Summary Under the general direction of the Project Lead (Principal Investigator) and Project Director of the Governors' Climate and Forests Task Force (GCF Task Force), the Director of Finance and Operations will provide a broad range of professional financial and operational services for the GCF Task Force, which is a project based at the UCLA School of Law and Institute of the Environment and Sustainability (IoES) that supports a network of 39 state and provincial governments from 10 countries to reduce deforestation, attract sustainable finance, and combat climate change. Research Contract Grant Specialist

The College of Science is seeking a Program Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Community Partnerships, the Museum Director provides leadership and directs policymaking, planning, organization, staffing, and operations. Montclair State University recently made an exciting announcement that it will receive a $5 million transformational gift that it will use to become an educational partner in the creation and operation of a museum and learning center at historic Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson, New Jersey. Primary Function:
<ul>
<li>Under minimal supervision, oversees all phases of research grants and contract administration for sponsored research projects (i.e. federal NIH/DOD grant awards, industry clinical trials, foundational grants, etc.).</li>
</ul>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ol>
<li>Facilitates management of pre- and post-award activities, including budget preparation, establishing research accounts, tracking monthly expenditures, and adherence to agency sponsored expense guidelines.</li>
<li>Works with department leadership and Principal Investigators to assess and recommend changes in the structure and functioning of research programs, as needed.</li>
<li>In conjunction with Principal Investigators and Director of Research, develops pre-award proposal materials such as budgets justifications, subcontractor budgets, and scopes of work.</li>
<li>Collaborates with legal counsel in the creation of subcontract/sponsored project agreements as well as negotiates Facilities and Administration/fringe rates for sponsored research projects on an annual basis.</li>
<li>Assists Principal Investigators and Project Managers in preparing annual progress and expenditure reports requested by sponsor organizations, including securing approval and obtaining Institutional signatures for reports, in order to support continuation of funding.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains expertise on state, federal, and organizational regulations and guidelines relating to sponsored research projects/programs.</li>
<li>Makes recommendations on policy issues to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations.</li>
<li>Utilizes hospital financial systems and financial reports to monitor monthly grant expenses and ensure compliance with sponsor/donor regulations.</li>
<li>Prepares and presents reports on actual versus budgeted financial information during site visits and external audits.</li>
<li>Provides information and analysis for long-range financial and cash flow forecasting, projects data trends in spending, provides analysis to determine the best use of funds from sponsored awards.</li>
<li>Monitors budget to actual spending activity and prepares monthly variance reports for Principal Investigators.</li>
<li>Supervises departmental administration of effort reporting as and ensures quality of work product.</li>
<li>Performs additional tasks relating to sponsored awards as requested.</li>

Educational requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. MBA in Finance or equivalent preferred.</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>5 to 7 years pre- and post-award grants administration experience required</li>
<li>Strong financial, accounting, analytical skills, and ability to manage all phases of the grant cycle</li>
<li>Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities and simultaneous time deadlines</li>

Job Description The School of Natural Resources (SNR) at the University of Missouri (MU) is seeking a faculty member in Climate Science. With this position, MU will better occupy a place among a select group of universities that boast a truly integrated and multidisciplinary approach to extension, research, and actionable scholarship in the field of climate science. This position will strengthen growing teaching and research programs, collaborate with other established MU research centers to garner major grants, form innovative new partnerships with private and public partners, and contribute toward improving grant and publication metrics considered in the Association of American Universities' (AAU) rankings. This position will complement and collaborate with faculty in SNR; the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR); and other colleges and departments across the MU campus. Collaborative opportunities also exist with the MU Center for Agroforestry, the MU Water Center, and the Interdisciplinary Plant Group (IPG). This is a 9-month, tenure-track appointment in teaching and research at the assistant professor level. We are seeking candidates with expertise in earth’s climate system, with a background in scientific areas such as climate dynamics, climate modeling, extreme weather events, or hydroclimate. Expertise in data analysis, artificial intelligence or machine learning is desirable. The successful candidate will contribute to the undergraduate and graduate teaching mission of the School as well as develop an exciting, high-impact, nationally/internationally recognized, externally-funded research program that complements institutional strengths in climate and environmental sciences. JOB COMPONENTS/PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Provide leadership and expertise in program preparation for CCNE accreditation.</li>
<li>Plan short term, intermediate and long-term development and improvement of the BSN Program.</li>
<li>Institutes program operating practices and procedures in order to facilitate improvements in curriculum planning, implementation, evaluation, teaching effectiveness, and program reporting.</li>
<li>Provide leadership in the development, maintenance, implementation and revision of existing and new nursing and healthcare programs.</li>
<li>Prepare annual reports IDFPR and CCNE.</li>
<li>Serves as the formal liaison between the BSN Program, the community at large and healthcare agencies to secure quality clinical sites.</li>
<li>Promotes collegiate initiatives between colleges/universities and articulates the program’s contributions in local, state, regional, national and international arenas of nursing and healthcare.</li>
<li>Participates in securing grant/scholarship funds to support program expansion and improvement.</li>
<li>Develop programmatic effectiveness with nursing faculty and staff that includes the integration of technology, including simulation and informatics.</li>
<li>Responsible for recruiting and hiring full-time and adjunct faculty and staff.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as requested, delegated or assigned.</li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
&nbsp;All qualifications are required unless otherwise indicated.

<li>Doctorate in nursing</li>
<li>Must have licensure or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Illinois</li>
<li>Significant experience in nursing education and practice</li>
<li>Minimum of five years of full-time faculty experience and three years of full-time experience in a nursing program with teaching responsibilities</li>
<li>Previous experience with the CCNE accreditation process for nursing programs</li>
<li>Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills</li>
</ul>

<li>Previous experience in education leadership such as Program Director, Associate Program Director, Academic Director, Clinical Director or another director-level role</li>
