Reporting to the Director of Development &amp; Communications, the&nbsp;Major Donor &amp; Institutional Giving Officer (MDO) &nbsp;is a pivotal member of the Development team, responsible for securing philanthropic investment to help advance the organization’s mission of accelerating equitable access to renewable energy solutions. The role leads the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of a focused portfolio of major individual donors ($5,000+) and institutional funders—including foundations, corporations, and public/government entities, while coordinating the full grants lifecycle—from prospecting and proposal development to reporting and compliance
The ideal candidate is an experienced relationship-builder and storyteller with a proven track record of successfully securing five, six- and seven-figure gifts and grants, deep expertise in donor strategy, and the ability to translate complex renewable energy and climate justice initiatives into compelling, results-oriented cases for support. Through strategic relationship management and cross-functional collaboration, this position will grow and diversify B.O.S.S.’ philanthropic support aligned to program impact to drive clean energy innovation, strengthen community resilience, support climate justice, and expand equitable access for historically underserved populations.
Minimum Qualifications include (but are not limited to):

<li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a relevant field (e.g., nonprofit management, communications, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;or business administration) required. Advanced degree preferred.</li>
<li>5–8+ years of progressive fundraising experience, including 5+ years in major gifts and institutional giving.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success cultivating and stewarding major donors, closing five, six, and seven figure major gifts and grants; comfort with gift negotiation and structuring.</li>
<li>Advanced proposal writing and case development skills; ability to translate technical clean energy concepts into compelling narratives.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives, presentations, and proposals to engage diverse audiences.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of the nonprofit fundraising landscape, particularly major donor and institutional giving cultivation strategies, grant writing techniques, and fundraising best practices</li>
<li>Proven ability to conceptualize and describe funding needs, including the value of investing in clean/renewable energy sources (especially those provided by Black and Brown people) in a way that is compelling to prospects, donors, Board, staff, and other stakeholders.</li>
<li>Strong grants coordination experience (calendars, proposals, reporting, compliance) with foundations and corporations; familiarity with public/nonprofit grant mechanics.</li>
<li>Strong network of foundation, corporate, and individual philanthropic leaders with interests in racial equity and workforce development.</li>

MAJOR DONOR & INSTITUTIONAL GIVING OFFICER

Coachella Valley Repertory Theatre (CVRep) seeks a full time Major Gift Officer to head their fundraising program for the theatre. The successful candidate for this new position will have experience in various aspects of development including major and planned gifts, annual fund, donor relations, corporate and foundation giving and special events. We expect candidates to be prepared to make phone calls, initiate contact with new and potential donors, as well as run planned fundraising campaigns. Knowledge of the Coachella Valley philanthropic community is a plus but not required for this position.
Major and Planned Gifts Development: 
<ul>
<li>Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects by building on existing relationships and forming new donor relationships on an ongoing basis.</li>
<li>Identify and steward prospective new donors. Create lists for new donor prospects and make phone calls to such perspective donors. Cultivate the board and committees, soliciting them for annual support as well as special giving opportunities.</li>
<li>Partner with the Executive Artistic Director (EAD) on donor calls and work to schedule meetings to solicit gifts and engage prospects in the life of the theatre. Work with the EAD to solicit annual support for season sponsorships from individuals, foundations and corporations. This includes cultivating existing sponsors as well as the identification of new sponsors. Establish a planned giving program for the theatre and utilize these efforts as part of the opportunities available to support CVRep. This includes the development of marketing materials for print, web and electronic communications.</li>
<li>Conduct research on potential prospects to identify their interest in theatre and their capacity to give.</li>
<li>Develop and implement fundraising strategies to include the development of case(s) for support for specific needs of the theatre and to use as a cultivation and marketing tool with potential donors.</li>

SSPI is seeking a detail-oriented Director of Corporate and Foundation Giving with deep experience in donor research and data-driven decision making to play a key role in identifying and researching new funding opportunities. This non-supervisory role will be responsible for prospect research, pipeline development, and early-stage engagement strategies to expand the organization’s corporate and foundation donor base. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The University of Wisconsin (UW) Primary Care Research Fellowship is recruiting fellows to join the Fall 2023 cohort. This post-doctoral research fellowship is administratively housed within the UW Dept. of Family Medicine and Community Health and led by faculty from this department as well as from General Internal Medicine and General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. The fellowship has been continuously funded by the Health Resources and Service Administration as a T32 for over 30 years, and typically supports 2 years of research career training.&nbsp;&nbsp;
A principal objective of the Primary Care Research Fellowship is to train primary care physicians and PhD scientists interested in careers in medical research related to the organization, delivery, or effectiveness of primary health care and preventive medicine.&nbsp;
Research project completion, published papers, and grant proposals are the main goals for fellows. The fellowship is open to physicians or PhD-level health professionals aiming for research-centered careers who could benefit from 2 years of protected time, intensive mentorship, and research support. The College of Science is seeking a Program Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. Works with the Associate Dean and Director to bring research teams together for large funding proposal and supports the proposal submission in coordination with the proposal support staff. &nbsp; Leads, designs and collaborates with the Associate Dean and Director in creating professional development opportunities for faculty, graduate students, postdocs and other researchers in the College for example, grant writing workshops, open forums, and seminars with program managers across pertinent funding agencies. &nbsp; Coordinates the annual spring OSU-OMSI Science Communication Fellowship Outreach Program and other activities with other college staff. &nbsp; Collaborates with the Associate Dean and graduate advisors in leading the selection committee and processes for graduate student scholarships, fellowships and research awards, faculty &amp; staff awards, and related activities. &nbsp; Updates, designs, and implements online templates using the OSU online portal, InfoReady for the college funding and award opportunities, such as the internal funding program, the Graduate student Fellowship/ scholarship application submission process, the faculty/researcher awards nominations, and other applicable opportunities. &nbsp; Supports the administration of small to medium sized research projects across the college and may collaborate and/or participate in the administration of large research projects in the College. &nbsp; 25% Proposal Support Exercises independent judgement and knowledge of best practices in research development and administration. &nbsp; Coordinates with the proposal support staff in assisting researchers with grant applications. Serves as backup to the proposal support staff and provides mentorship and guidance as needed. This includes assisting faculty with proposal preparation and submission from inception to submission. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:&nbsp;&nbsp;
Under general supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Research Associate conducts laboratory and field research, use and maintenance of facilities and equipment, supervise students, facilitates execution of research projects in aquaculture nutrition, and assists with data acquisition and analysis, grant writing and publications.&nbsp;&nbsp;
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:&nbsp;&nbsp;
Coordinate with Principal Investigator to fulfill project objectives.&nbsp;
Assist with use and maintenance of equipment, hatchery facilities, ponds, and Water Quality laboratory.&nbsp;
Assist other research staff by performing designated procedures and training.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Facilitate research and teaching activities among student employees, graduate students, research assistants, and collaborators.&nbsp;
Maintain records (research data, analytical procedures, manuals of analytical equipment, etc).&nbsp;
Responsible use of KSU vehicles and equipment.&nbsp;
Assist with purchasing equipment, materials, and supplies for research projects.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Assist with administration of the project to satisfy KSU policies and procedures.&nbsp;
Assist with writing grant proposals and refereed manuscripts.&nbsp;

QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;
Minimum of a Master’s degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Agriculture or a related field, with a minimum of two years of experience in Aquaculture Nutrition Research.&nbsp;&nbsp;
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:&nbsp;
Experience with the manufacture of research diets for shrimp and finfish.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Experience with shrimp and finfish production.&nbsp;
Experience conducting nutrition studies (growth and digestibility) with shrimp and finfish.&nbsp;
Experience in performing proximate analyses in feeds and tissues of shrimp and finfish.&nbsp;
Experience with enzyme assays, plate reader, and analytical equipment.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Experience with routine water quality analyses in aquaculture.&nbsp;
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting recirculating aquaculture systems.&nbsp;
Knowledge of aquaculture nutrition research methods and experimental designs.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Knowledge of methods to organize, analyze and present data.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Advanced knowledge on Microsoft Office programs.&nbsp;
