ATTENTION PEOPLE LOOKING TO ENTER THE ELECTRICAL TRADE! The Warehouse at Squires Electric is seeking someone ambitious, hard-working, and eager to learn to assist in organization, receiving, and delivery of materials to our electricians.
Attention to detail, zealous communication with our staff, follow-through, and the ability to identify tasks to complete around the warehouse are primary attributes we’re looking for in this position. A sense of humor, the ability to find relevant memes, and a vocabulary for carrying on conversations in movie quotes are a definite positive. Construction and/or electrical parts experience would be beneficial, but is not essential. This is an entry-level position that can greatly increase the chances of getting into an official electrical apprenticeship through Local 48.
Work hours range from approximately 6:00AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional need to work overtime and/or weekends during our busy season, at additional pay. Start and stop times can be coordinated with team members.
Our Service Department is tasked with scheduling between 100-150 jobs per week, encompassing almost everything from small troubleshooting assignments to large, months-long new construction installations. This entails handling large deliveries to job sites and facilitating multiple runs to supply houses for small service calls.

Compensation for this position is solely up to the Farmers agency owner, which may include base salary, base salary plus commission, or commission only arrangements. If commission is part of the compensation for this position, the agency owner can provide you a list of applicable insurance and insurance-related products along with the commission rates for which you can be compensated.
