We are seeking a Cyber Specialist II to provide endpoint detection and response (EDR) monitoring, policy development and compliance support within secure enterprise environments. This individual will play a key role in identifying vulnerabilities, ensuring endpoint security configurations meet established standards and supporting remediation efforts. The Cyber Specialist II role requires working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability assessment practices and compliance monitoring. What youll be doing:

<li>Provide endpoint detection and response (EDR) monitoring, including policy development, tuning and enforcement for endpoint agents.</li>
<li>Conduct monthly compliance scans of endpoint assets using automated tools and configuration guidelines.</li>
<li>Ensure systems conform to established security baselines and technical standards.</li>
<li>Perform weekly, monthly and ad hoc vulnerability scans and prepare assessment reports.</li>
<li>Collaborate with stakeholders to address identified findings and support remediation.</li>
<li>Assist with developing, tracking and updating Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs).</li>
<li>Apply technical knowledge to resolve moderately complex security issues under limited supervision.</li>
<li>Contribute to continuous improvement of endpoint security processes and procedures.</li>

What you need to know:
 
<ul>
<li>Working knowledge of endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools and practices.</li>
<li>Familiarity with federal security configuration standards, automated compliance tools and STIG-based scanning.</li>
<li>Experience performing vulnerability scans, producing reports and supporting remediation efforts.</li>
<li>Understanding of POAM development and compliance tracking processes.</li>
<li>Ability to work under limited supervision to resolve technical problems.</li>

Must haves:

<li>Bachelors degree or 3+ additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.</li>

Your Opportunity + Impact
The Technical Manager will coordinate and direct technical teams to identify and accomplish goals by directing the integration of technical activities of a specific professional service. This position is responsible for the overall management of technical aspects of projects to include technical design, quality control, personnel management, scope, budgeting and financial performance. This position is responsible for managing technical teams job assignments to various projects and will work closely with Project Managers and other staff to ensure technical aspects are being met. The Technical Manager may also prepare and implement annual business goals and assist with multi-year strategic business plans.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Reviews and confirms accuracy of the work performed and methods used by technical team.</li>
<li>Creates and tracks project budgets &amp; schedules and identifies potential issues.</li>
<li>Responsible for technical, quality, and financial performance of the technical team.</li>
<li>Answers questions and resolves issues brought forth by engineering, technical, and project teams.</li>
<li>Acts as the Designer of Record as required.</li>
<li>Communicates and collaborates with managers, clients, and contractors.</li>
<li>Conducts various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects.</li>
<li>Assists in preparing workload forecasting reports and staffing plans.</li>
<li>Proposes and oversees budgets and timelines for engineering and/or technical projects.</li>
<li>Prepares and delivers various technical presentations, both internally and externally as needed.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with all environmental, survey, and other rules, regulations, and permitting requirements.</li>
<li>Reviews contract plan and agreement documents for accuracy, as related to specific technical discipline.</li>
<li>May oversee technical staff and ensure supervisory tasks are complete, to include reviewing/approving timesheets, performing annual reviews, and assuring compliance with company and department policies and procedures.</li>

Education and Experience
<ul>
<li>Education: Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related discipline.</li>
<li>Experience: Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience in related discipline.</li>
<li>Licensure/Certification:&nbsp; PE, SE, RA, PLA, PLS or other relevant license within the discipline required.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Intermediate to advanced level of knowledge with MS Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Deltek Vision, etc.&nbsp; Must possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a Project Team, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external sources in a professional manner.</li>
