Job Overview:
This brand-new state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to open in April 2025. Interviews will begin in March 2025.
We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Technicians use their knowledge &amp; skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest&nbsp;</li>
<li>Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles</li>
<li>Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections</li>
<li>Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively</li>
<li>Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization</li>
<li>Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns&nbsp;</li>
<li>Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications 
Qualifications:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest</li>
<li>3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic</li>
<li>ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve</li>
<li>Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles</li>
<li>Meet or exceed hourly goals</li>
<li>Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes</li>
<li>Professional appearance and strong communication</li>
<li>A desire for long-term career development</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds</li>
<li>Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head</li>
<li>Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair</li>
<li>Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools</li>
<li>Walk/stand for the majority of their workday</li>
<li>Drive manual transmissions vehicles</li>
<li>Efficiently navigate a computer</li>
</ul>

Theprogram has emphases in Educational Leadership, Special Education,and Transformative Learning in the Global Community. The program isgrowing in reputation, academic rigor, and enrollment numbers sinceits inception in 2015. This position will be subject to annual probationary reviewaccording to the guidelines set forth in Webster University'sFaculty Handbook. Job Description 
<ul>
<li>Teach graduate-level courses in EdD with a 3-3 teaching loadaccording to the flexible load policy, with an emphasis on eitherresearch or service. Research or service output needs to beassessed according to the flexible load policy. </li>
<li>Willingness to adapt to diverse modalities in teaching andadvising. Teach online, overseas, and Live Virtual. All courses are8-week long, online or Live Virtual that require digital literacycompetency on using Office 365, Canvas, Concourse, Zoom, andeducational apps. Some students reside overseas and require eveningand weekend hours for communication and mentorship. </li>
<li>Collaborate with the EdD Director, faculty, and colleagues forgrant applications, coursework development, research projects,presentations and publications. </li>
<li>Be a team-player and participate in all the student-centeredservices and activities hosted by the EdD program. </li>
<li>Assist the EdD Director with curriculum development &amp;differentiation, implementation, assessment, and review; as well asrecruitment, marketing, and hosting information sessions forprospective students. </li>
<li>Work closely with the EdD Director for program growth in othercountries and willingness to travel and work during break time,weekends, and evening hours. </li>
<li>Develop new materials and assessments and differentiate contentmaterials, as needed. </li>

<li>An earned doctoral degree (PhD or EdD) in education-relateddisciplines (leadership, urban education, research methodology,technology or areas with market potential). </li>
<li>A minimum of three academic publications at the time ofapplication. </li>
<li>Knowledge in ontology, epistemology, axiology,intersectionality, and reflexivity in research. </li>
<li>Demonstrated academic credentials and scholarship in a varietyof educational research methods, as evidenced in publications inpeer-reviewed journals and books. </li>
<li>Operational knowledge with qualitative research, and criticalpedagogy. Preferred utilization of NVivo, Dedoose, or MAXQDA, andother qualitative data analytical software. </li>
<li>Research interest and experience in one of the following areas:anti-racist leadership in K-12 and higher education settings,technological transformations with Block Chain, VR/AR, Metaverse,and social media. </li>
<li>Experience with professional conference presentations asevidenced in presentations at a peer-reviewed conference such asAmerican Educational Research Association (AERA) convention and/orother reputable conference in the relevant discipline. Preferred Qualifications: </li>
<li>Hands-on knowledge of the utilization of JASP, SPSS, and R forapplications of statistical packages in quantitative andmixed-methods research. </li>
<li>Knowledge of survey research and the use of Qualtricsdesirable. </li>
<li>Experience supervising dissertation or doctoral portfoliocompletion. </li>
<li>Experience supervising overseas graduate students with diversebackgrounds. </li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with academic writing groups andmonitoring writing projects at the graduate level. </li>
<li>Professional membership with AERA, Carnegie Project on theEducation Doctorate (CPED), and/or other professionalorganizations.
