The F-16 “Viper” is a multi-role fighter jet delivering air-to-air, air-to-ground, and surveillance capabilities for the United States Air Force (USAF) and Coalition Partners. 
The F-16 program has the largest Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program in U.S. history producing over 4,500 jets for 24 countries. Each F-16 FMS case is uniquely tailored to country requirements / development / funding. Presently, FMS production orders exist through 2030. Additionally, the F-16 program includes the Multi-National Fighter Program (MNFP). MNFP is not a typical FMS program, but a unique, cooperative USAF and development program implemented through the FMS process under the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). MNFP began in 1975 with the countries of Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway; Portugal joined in 2000.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

<li>Support opening and securing/alarming various SPO secure rooms and vaults at the beginning and end of each duty day, to include but not limited to hours after 1800, and respond (if USG personnel are unavailable) during non-duty hours to alarms, as needed. </li>
<li>Assist in the development and document recommend program protection and system security input for SOOs, SOWs, PWS, RFPs, and CDRLs for assigned programs.</li>

<li>Assist in planning, designing, reviewing, analyzing and reporting on tailored security plans for the protection of systems during the test and evaluation phase and make recommendations for changes to security test procedures.</li>
<li>Review conceptual studies, program reports, system data, and other pertinent source documentation, which might aid in establishing basic system security requirements.</li>
<li>Continuously analyze the adequacy of the weapon system, system security planning and physical security standards and report on discrete areas of concern.</li>
<li>Provide support for integrating flexible, cost-effective and threat-based security processes, plans and procedures to protect weapon system(s) during its lifecycle (DoD acquisition process pre-Milestone A through demilitarization).</li>
<li>Support the integration of U.S. export and technology control laws, DoD/Air Force policy and instructions, and other applicable guidance into program protection planning.</li>
<li>Identify CPI and conduct criticality analysis for assigned programs, assessing program threats, analyzing system vulnerabilities and recommending alternative cost-effective security countermeasures that meet security objectives within the overall system design and program strategy.</li>
<li>Assist the engineering functional and shall provide expertise about the authority to operate (ATO) process to support the protection of CPI and staff associated documents through the appropriate channels to the executive agent for final approval of plans.</li>
<li>Provide advisory assistance in evaluating security and administrative procedures associated with handling CPI/Critical Components (CC) from unclassified material, up to and including Top Secret (TS), Special Access and Sensitive Compartmented Intelligence (SCI).</li>
<li>Provide assistance in the creation and maintenance of an OPSEC program/plan for the protection of Critical Information (CI) and provide recommendation to the government security lead to ensure program compliance.</li>
<li>Assess, monitor, and review trade studies designed to balance program security risks with costs to the program; assist with designing cost-effective approaches for integrating security requirements into weapon system contracts.</li>

<li>Analyze the adequacy of the weapon system prime Contractors’ and/or subcontractors’ program protection planning/efforts and report on discrete areas of concern.</li>
