Major Business/Professional Contacts

The Business Analyst is a critical member of the Spotless Brands corporate team, supporting cross-functional business units by transforming data into actionable insights. This role helps teams across the organization make strategic, data-informed decisions by identifying trends, developing reports and dashboards, and providing analytical support to drive performance improvements. The Business Analyst functions as a connector between raw data and business strategy, working with leaders across Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT, and other departments to solve complex problems and enhance business outcomes.
 
Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand key business questions and develop data-driven solutions</li>
<li>Extract, clean, and transform data from a variety of systems (e.g., POS, ERP, HRIS, marketing, and financial platforms)</li>
<li>Aggregate and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to develop insights and recommendations</li>
<li>Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualization tools to support timely, informed decision-making using tools like Power BI or Tableau</li>
<li>Collaborate with senior analysts, directors, and executive leaders to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and relevance</li>
<li>Translate complex data into clear, compelling visualizations and business narratives</li>
<li>Support ongoing business reviews, forecasts, and strategic initiatives with data modeling and scenario analysis</li>
<li>Stay informed of best practices and emerging trends in analytics and business intelligence tools</li>
</ul>
 
Education and Experience
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, statistics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience required</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years of professional experience analyzing large, multi-source datasets required</li>
<li>Experience with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Databricks required</li>
<li>Proven ability to deliver insights and data-driven recommendations to non-technical business stakeholders required</li>
<li>Experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite)preferred</li>
</ul>
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
<ul>
<li>Foundational knowledge of business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization practices</li>
<li>Understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and data governance principles</li>
<li>High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other BI tools</li>

<li>Effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to present complex findings in a clear manner</li>
