Access Services is seeking caring and patient DSPs (Direct Support Professionals) to join our In Home Supports team on a full-time or part-time schedule with shift options currently in Levittown, Bristol, Holland, Fairless Hills, Yardley, and Bensalem. 
As a Direct Support Professional, you will have the opportunity to provide supports to adults with developmental disabilities/Autism who desire to continue living in a home environment for as long as possible. Your daily actions as a Direct Support Professional will enable each individual to flourish in their desired home context, maintain or increase their independence, and live their best lives. Your goal is to provide the highest quality care for each individual. Paid training is provided by Access Services, so no experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities of the DSP:

<li>Direct Support Professionals will assist individuals with developmental intellectual disabilities in the region where you serve. You will provide creative support through a variety of tasks, activities and/or community engagement. You may provide direct services to individuals in their own homes or in their natural family homes.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Direct Support Professionals will provide supports as outlined in the individual’s plan of care utilizing approved interventions. This includes safe crisis management techniques, emotional support, and positive reinforcement.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Direct Support Professionals will maintain appropriate case notes for the individuals served.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
Candidates must meet all qualifying and ongoing job criteria including background checks, physical examination results, and clearances.

<li>A valid driver's license, and access to a reliable vehicle during work hours. </li>

Would you be interested in providing care for our sweet, joyful, and fun-loving individual? Our Client is non-verbal and is diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy. We are looking for a reliable individual to care for and play with them. They enjoy playing games, art projects, swimming, swinging, music, and walks in the summer. They are small for their age at about 4 feet tall and 60 lbs. We have a lift system available in the home, but there are times when you will need to lift and/or adjust them. You would provide general hygiene cares as well as administration of feedings and some medications. Of course, all necessary training will be provided no previous experience needed.
Primary Hours of Availability: 
Mon, Tue, Thurs. 6am-11:15am Wed. 6am-9am Fri. 6am-4pm

<li>Able to lift a client at a minimum of 50 pounds.</li>
<li>Ability to move in tight spaces, between objects and furniture.</li>
<li>Able to perform duties which require standing, walking, squatting, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, twisting, sitting, reaching at, below, and over shoulder limits.</li>
<li>Able to continuously perform physical functions from up to an hour without rest.</li>
