Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. 
This role offers a rewarding opportunity for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to contribute in a specialty retail oncology pharmacy setting. Focused on fulfillment tasks, this position involves preparing and counting medications for pharmacist verification, managing inventory, and handling daily prescription orders. Candidates will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy team and maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Schedule and Location:

<li>Monday through Friday</li>
<li>Shift options: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST (4 positions)</li>
<li>11:00 AM to 7:30 PM EST (3 positions)</li>
<li>Located in Bronx, NY</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Prepare and count medications for pharmacist review</li>
<li>Maintain and monitor pharmacy inventory; anticipate and order necessary medications and supplies</li>
<li>Process outdated medications for returns</li>
<li>Package and organize daily prescription orders accurately and efficiently</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
<ul>
<li>Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required</li>
<li>Current New York Pharmacy Technician registration</li>
<li>National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records</li>
<li>Familiarity with specialty retail pharmacy procedures, especially oncology, is a plus</li>
</ul>
This is a 24-week contract to hire opportunity with seven openings available. Candidates should be prepared for a temporary assignment with the potential to transition to a permanent role.
