CT Technologist (Contract) 
Location: New York, NY (10003) Assignment Duration: 8 Weeks (High possibility of extension) Shift: Night Shift – 5×8 Hours (12:00 AM – 8:30 AM) Pay Rate: $63 – $75 per hour 

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a short-term night assignment at a major healthcare facility in New York City. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CT imaging, comfortable working overnight shifts, and experienced with advanced imaging systems in a fast-paced clinical environment. 

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring comfort and safety </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Operate CT imaging equipment accurately and efficiently </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Administer IV contrast following certification and facility guidelines </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Verify patient identity, exam orders, and imaging parameters prior to scanning </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Review images for diagnostic quality and completeness </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Maintain equipment cleanliness, safety, and readiness </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Communicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and physicians </li>
</ul>

Required Skills &amp; Experience
<ul>
<li>IV Certification (mandatory)</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Strong experience performing CT imaging procedures </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Prior experience operating Siemens CT equipment preferred</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ability to work independently during overnight shifts </li>
</ul>

Certifications &amp; Licensure (Required)

<li>ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist – R.T.(R) </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>ARRT Registered Technologist in CT – R.T.(CT) </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>New York State Radiologic Technologist License (DOH NYS) </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>BLS (Basic Life Support) </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>IV Certification </li>
