Ametek Ameron is looking for a strong MRO Inspector with 5 years previous MRO quality experience for our Baldwin Park, CA facility. This individual will be responsible for conducting detailed inspection of aircraft fire bottles and oxygen masks/bottles to ensure they meet airworthiness requirements. The inspector will be required to maintain accurate records of inspection &amp; maintenance activities and ensure adherence to airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and FAA/EASA/UK/CAAC regulations. This role will be responsible for overseeing quality systems, including procedure and policy compliance, continued conformance to AS9100 Rev.D and ISO9001:2015 requirements, performing internal and supplier audits, as well as maintaining an effective corrective/preventive action system for internal and external problems. This position will also function as primary liaison for various customers in order to resolve quality issues, ensure appropriate flow down of quality requirements, enable positive channels of communication, and ensure customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: An experienced Project Engineer handles the coordination and completion of assigned projects for construction jobs. Project Engineer will oversee all aspects of the project including direct communication with owners, contractors, architects, designers, etc., concerning project cost, staffing and scheduling. You must display excellent customer service skills, including solid communication and interpersonal abilities and the ability to interact in a positive way with a wide variety of different types of clients, subcontractors, fellow employees, management and office personnel while providing outstanding service. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Quality Control: o Assist Superintendent and PM with project QC plan development and implementation. o Ensure that all submittals are completed in accordance with the project documents. o Ensure that the goal for the project team is to complete ALL submittals by "Third Point" (this excludes all close-out submittals). o Create, maintain, and update Deficiency List, Discrepancy List and Punch List. o Assist in communicating project changes and their implementation. o Follow through on material delivery. Financial Management: o Assist Project Manager with financial monitoring and reporting. o Participate in the monthly margin analysis projections, assist the Project Manager in supporting documentation. o Prepare change estimates in a timely and professional fashion for presentation to the Owner during the OAC meetings. Ensure estimates are complete, justifiable and defensible. o Prepare, review and initiate processing of subcontractor and vendor invoicing. o Prepare the monthly progress billing for review by the Project Manager. o Prepare the Prime and subcontractor Change Orders for review by the Project Manager. o Assist in writing, processing and tracking purchase orders. o Review project personnel timecards and support the Certified Payroll requirements.
