Job Description
Injection Mold Maintenance Technician
Position Summary Responsible for the proper preventive and corrective maintenance of injection molds (tooling) to ensure production readiness, efficiency, and quality.
Essential Functions
<ol>
<li>
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molds according to work orders and priority lists.
</li>
<li>
Repair, clean, and maintain molds to ensure optimal performance.
</li>
<li>
Operate toolroom equipment, including overhead cranes, grinders, lathes, and related machinery.
</li>
<li>
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve mold repair and maintenance processes.
</li>
<li>
Complete required documentation and reports on a daily basis.
</li>
<li>
Support and assist toolroom teammates as needed.
</li>
<li>
Work weekends and overtime when necessary.
</li>
</ol>

Education, Experience, and Competencies

High school diploma or GED required; 5 years of injection molding toolroom experience preferred.
</li>
<li>
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
</li>
<li>
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work effectively with others.
</li>
<li>
Skilled in the safe operation of cranes, hoists, lifts, power tools, and hand tools.
</li>
<li>
Ability to walk, stand, lift, carry, and pull up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
</li>
<li>
Demonstrates levelheadedness and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
</li>
