Job Description

We are currently hiring a Press Operator for a full-time temp-to-hire position in Victorville, CA. This role offers day and night shifts, with potential scheduling across Monday through Sunday, depending on plant needs. The Press Operator will be responsible for controlling equipment and monitoring systems used in chemical and materials processing. Ideal candidates will have mechanical aptitude, process plant experience, and the ability to work in outdoor environments under extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production
Perform basic maintenance on motors, pumps, tanks, and other process equipment
Record process data, complete shift logs, and communicate turnover to next shift
Troubleshoot equipment issues and make process adjustments as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; process tech coursework preferred
1–3 years of experience in a mining or process plant environment preferred
Basic mechanical and computer skills; ability to learn process flow and safety protocols
Strong communication skills and ability to work in diverse, team-oriented settings
Willingness to work outdoors in extreme heat or cold (temperatures ranging from 115&degree;F to 40&degree;F)
