Our client, a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Senior Electrical Engineer. the Professional Engineer (PE) will have expertise in electrical systems including electrical distributed power generation, feeds, distribution, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power, UPS, and low voltage systems. The PE is responsible for overseeing the engineering of these systems for major capital projects and initiatives from conceptualization through programming, design, bidding, construction, commissioning, and close out.
The PE will be responsible for multiple high-complexity projects of diverse scope that require an understanding of state of the art construction techniques and a high level of expertise in electrical systems, as well as rigor in compliance, and the highest standard of care. Science projects include research laboratories, vivarium, pilot scale manufacturing, major scientific equipment, amenity space, outdoor plaza, site lighting, and infrastructure projects.
The PE shall collaborate with the project team to effectively identify innovative solutions and bring clarity to the project process using a sophisticated analytical approach and sound judgement. This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging, and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes.
 
The Associate III, Automation &amp; Control Engineering (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation control systems with a focus on mathematical modeling and control theory. You will make critical decisions within your project area, requiring advanced technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Specifics include:
<ul>
<li>Supporting manufacturing automation systems for all platforms, performing scheduled PMs, developmental training for EMs and associates, and maintaining compliant GxP requirements in all areas of the manufacturing process.</li>
<li>Take on highly complex tasks related to the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of instrument/electrical and automation control systems.</li>
<li>Focus on mathematical modeling of diverse systems, analyzing their dynamic behavior, and using control theory to create controllers that ensure systems behave in a desired manner.</li>
<li>Contribute to the development of cutting-edge projects by applying advanced technical knowledge and making critical decisions that significantly influence project outcomes.</li>
<li>Stay current with advances in system design, configuration, and automation.</li>
<li>Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.</li>
<li>Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization by committing to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.</li>

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)</li>
<li>The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English</li>
<li>Work hours: 36 - 48 hours per week: 6:00 PM EST – 6:00 AM EST, 12-hour rotating night shift: 2 nights on, 2 nights off, and every other weekend (Though rare, day shift availability is possible based on business needs and individual qualifications)</li>
<li>Travel Required: 0 – 5%</li>
<li>Location: Onsite</li>

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

<li>Mechatronics Experience</li>
<li>Electrical Troubleshooting</li>
<li>Prior experience with Beckhoff / TwinCAT</li>
<li>Structured Text Programming Language</li>
<li>PLCs (Programmable Logic Controls) Experience</li>

Rocktech Systems of Chesterfield is seeking a CNC&nbsp;Set-up/Operator&nbsp;for the 1st shift. We are seeking someone who is energetic, flexible, and dependable with at least 5+ years of experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to expand their knowledge and grow in the field of CNC.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Set-up and operate a variety of CNC machines and equipment, and machine parts from customer-stated specifications</li>
<li>Reads and understands CNC programming in order to verify parts are machined to meet requirements.</li>
<li>Verify machine settings by measuring positions and first-run parts.</li>
<li>Inspect and measure machined parts to ensure blueprint specifications are met.</li>
<li>Monitors dimensions and makes adjustments as required to maintain tolerances.</li>
<li>Document actions by completing production and quality logs as required.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.</li>
<li>Comply with all company processes, procedures, quality directives and safety procedures.</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, skill, experience and minimum education required:
Minimum 5 years setup/operating/editing on CNC Mill
<ul>
<li>Ability to use measuring instruments e.g. gauges, micrometers, calipers</li>
<li>Ability to set-up Mill machines</li>
<li>Ability to make edits and adjustments</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints</li>
