Our client, a US Fortune 250 company and a global medical technology corporation serving customers in Clinical Labs, Health care research & Pharmaceutical industry, seeks an accomplished Quality Engineer II (Calibration).

Pay Rate: $35.00/hr. - $40.00/hr. (depending upon experience)
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Quality Engineer II (Calibration) is responsible for implementing, performing, and documenting the IDS Baltimore calibration program across multiple facilities. This role ensures compliance with ISO and GMP regulations, maintains calibration schedules, and supports equipment performance and documentation activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer and maintain the calibration program across IDS Baltimore locations.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, GMP, and corporate standards.
- Develop and document calibration procedures and data sheets.
- Plan and perform calibration and certification testing for equipment such as:
- Temperature indicators, recorders, controllers
- Timers, centrifuges, tachometers
- Pressure/vacuum indicators, flowmeters, pH meters, %RH recorders
- CO₂ incubators, thermocouples, RTDs, thermometers, and other probes
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain calibration instruments.
- Maintain calibration renewals of reference standards and history files.
- Provide excellent internal customer support and communication.
- Supervise exempt/non-exempt employees or contractor calibrations when needed.
- Participate in external customer audits of the calibration program.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BS required)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in calibration or quality engineering.
- Must Have: Calibration experience
- Computer proficiency (Excel/data input)
- Nice-to-Have: Experience with Blue Mountain calibration software
