Description of Job: 
As a QC Entomology Analyst at Valent BioSciences, you will be responsible for testing of in-process and final product. You will be responsible for scheduling the insects for testing purposes as well as maintaining and ensuring the availability of materials needed for testing. In this role, you must adhere to testing schedules to accomplish a high volume of critical work without compromising the integrity of the results while meeting the scheduling needs of manufacturing. Good documentation practices and well as the ability to follow and comprehend a written procedure is a requirement.

Essential Functions:

<li>Bioassay testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.</li>

You will plan and execute small to medium size projects requiring equipment, piping, instrumentation, and electrical design. You will devise new approaches to problems encountered. Examples of project assignments include process improvements, safety and ergonomic improvements, capacity increase, and utility conservation. As a Project Engineer, you will have additional project team responsibilities, as required, during major capital projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Plans, schedules, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work including P&amp;ID development, equipment and instrumentation design specifications, process requirement specifications, work scope development, equipment procurement, project cost control, construction oversight through project closeout. </li>
<li>Supervises changes, modifications, and improvements in process and utility systems to ensure compliance with safety, production, and regulatory requirements. </li>
<li>Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering practices, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor process adaptations and modifications. </li>
<li>Checks system drawings by walking through to the end points of responsibility, including checking pipes and valves for proper identification and tagging. </li>
<li>Generate project requirement documentation.
<ol>
<li>Management of Change requirements</li>
<li>Test reports, Installation qualifications and acceptance requirements.</li>
<li>As built requirements and required updates to documentation.</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>Maximize standardization of information contained in design documents, schematic drawings.</li>
<li>Additional duties as required.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Minimum four year engineering degree, or equivalent experience, preferably a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree. </li>
<li>Five years minimum of project experience in a process, bioprocess, pharmaceutical or similar industry.</li>
<li>Design experience with batch reactors, heat exchangers, pumps, filters, valves and instrumentation.</li>
<li>Project management experience. </li>
<li>DCS and PLC programming experience is a plus.</li>
<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills (oral and verbal).</li>

Base Salary: The estimated annual base salary for this position ranges from: $83,500 to 108,500. Individual pay is based upon location, skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

About the Role
As a Millwright at Landus, you will support the maintenance team in ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and facilities. This entry-level role focuses on performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting with repairs, and learning the fundamentals of facility maintenance. You will develop technical skills and gain experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems under the guidance of more experienced team members. This position will be traveling to multiple locations to assist with maintenance duties. The main hub location is Bradford, Iowa. 
 
What will you do?

<li>Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks under supervision.</li>

Requirements:

<li>Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds.</li>
