The Electrical Engineer will also be a part of the the company's Build4Growth Program. This program is built on a blended learning approach including online learning, face-to-face sessions, on-the-job assignments, and projects. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

<li>Ensure all system programming meets with proper environmental compliance. </li>
<li>Maintain system documentation including but not limited to master equipment files, regulatory compliance files, equipment specifications, and repair history</li>
<li>Evaluate computer control equipment and their components to assure they meet the plant requirements.</li>
<li>Define, write and implement changes to existing process control programs.</li>
<li>Provide control system training and guidance for plant personnel.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot control system hardware and software problems.</li>

Job Summary: The Mechanical Estimator is responsible for ensuring all mechanically led proposals are complete and submitted on time.
This Mechanical Estimator roll with focus on Hygienic/Process Piping proposals.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Scheduling bid review meetings, ensuring that all bid deadlines are met, completing bid information on required forms and in the prescribed method.</li>
<li>Attending pre-bid meetings and project walkthroughs as required.</li>
<li>Tracking and filing of all pre-bid documents, such as drawings, specifications, and addendums, RFI’s, pre-bid meeting minutes etc. that have been issued.</li>
<li>Acquiring quotes from vendors and subcontractors for work being quoted.</li>
<li>Coordinating completion of all bid forms including bid bonds, certificates of insurance, org charts, schedule, client bid forms, ensuring contract signatures are obtained and complete, etc.</li>
<li>Assisting Project Managers with quoting large change orders on existing jobs.</li>
<li>Maintain the estimation data base and interact with Business Development for updates.</li>
<li>Maintain subcontractor/ supplier database and maintain strong subcontractor/supplier relationships.</li>
<li>Hold post-award turnover meeting from Pre-Construction to Operations.</li>
<li>Updating of templates and worksheets.</li>
<li>Solicit feedback from project management regarding unit labor rates.</li>
<li>Become familiar with nuances of each client site as related to the impact on estimating.</li>
</ul>
 
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Two-year college degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent field experience</li>
<li>Must be proficient piping (process pipe and plumbing) estimator.</li>
<li>Commercial construction experience is a must.</li>
<li>System types include: carbon steel, stainless steel, BPE tube, copper, ductile iron, PVC and Polypropylene.</li>
<li>Proficient using estimating software. InServ is currently using Quote Soft</li>
<li>Advanced user of MS Excel, Word, and Project.</li>
<li>Detailed knowledge of P&amp;IDs, orthogonal drawings, mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings.</li>
<li>Knowledge of industry codes and quality standards.</li>
<li>Effective written and verbal communications skills.</li>
<li>Produce written documents in English with clearly organized thoughts using proper sentence structure, punctuation, and grammar.</li>
<li>Expert problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Work performed inside office facilities under frequent deadlines and interruptions.</li>
<li>Must be able to climb and descend stairs and ladders, crawl around equipment, walk unencumbered (to access project bid sites).</li>
<li>Must be able to sit at a computer desk and blueprint table to conduct work.</li>
