Orthopedic Urgent Care - .6 FTE

An NP/PA utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills.&nbsp; They work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals.&nbsp; Advanced Practice Clinicians provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
We are looking for an experienced NP or PA with a background in Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine and/or Urgent Care for this dynamic independent practice model position for Essentia Health. 

Practice Specifics:
<ul>
<li>Advanced Practitioners will comprise the core staff, with MD oversight from orthopedics.</li>
<li>Free standing location away from the main campus.&nbsp; 3 exam rooms, a cast room in addition to state-of-the-art Radiology Suite.</li>
<li>VERY independent practice model with support from onsite radiology tech and athletic trainer</li>
<li>No follow-up care – Initial workup and medical care only, all follow up care done by referral</li>
<li>Work shifts will be (3) twelve-hour days for a full-time employee or a variation of these hours.</li>
<li>Staffing model is:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Monday – Friday 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.</li>
<li>Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.</li>
</ul>

Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
