Role Specific Primary Essential Duties:

Job Summary
Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units in a healthcare facility, and provide services that include helping patients make menu selections, assemble, deliver and pick-up their meal trays. Senior Care Therapy is seeking full-time or part-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to join our mission of providing in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population. We currently serve over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted livings throughout NJ, NY, PA, and MD.

Key Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility.</li>
<li>Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.</li>
<li>Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient.</li>
<li>Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using our clinician-designed electronic medical/health system (EHR). </li>
<li>Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.</li>
</ul>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in State applying for.</li>
<li>Effective oral and written communication in English</li>
<li>Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).</li>
<li>Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.</li>
<li>Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes.</li>
<li>Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day.</li>
<li>Full Vaccination and Booster Status may be required in some facilities.</li>
</ul>

Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Previous clinical experience in a subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting.</li>
<li>History of treating Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment Disorders.
<ul>
<li>Psych or Addictions experience is a plus.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Excellent time management and organizational skills. </li>
</ul>
