JOB GOAL
This position seeks a passionate and dedicated Licensed Behavioral Specialist to work in our schools. You will be essential in helping our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Conduct assessments such as VB-MAPP, EFLs, AFLS, etc.</li>
<li>Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans based on assessments.</li>
<li>Provide direct support to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder.</li>
<li>Provide modeling, guidance, and feedback to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Autistic Educational Support Staff (AESS) in the delivery of intervention packages.</li>

<li>Gather data and adjust interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.</li>

This is a community-based position that serves residents of the Pueblo of San Felipe. The incumbent provides a range of psychological assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic services for individuals, couples, groups, and families as directed.
 
Duties:

<li>Provides individual, group, and/or family outpatient counseling, therapy and/or equine-assisted psychotherapy to clients and families as appropriate to the position; prepares assessments, treatment plans, discharge plans and follow-up care programs; provides therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as applicable.</li>
<li>Collects information about clients through assessment, observation, case history, and screenings as applicable; evaluates information to identify causes of presenting problems and make clinical recommendations as appropriate to clients needs.</li>
