Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>The Career Coach is the primary point of contact with the participants and others in the participant’s circle of influence, meets the regulatory requirements for eligibility, participation, case notes and follow up services detailing service needs and activities/arrangements for their fulfillment, regarding employment, retention, and termination, according to data-management procedures established by program management and the funding sources.</li>
<li>The Career Coach will recruit for the program as well as seek employment and educational opportunities as participants complete the program, attend and conduct activities in the community relating to participant development, and identify and recruit target population of clients and employers.. </li>
<li>Deliver skills training in software applications, work readiness skills and the development of basic remedial skills in math and reading. Develop presentation and facilitation skills to engage students in meeting program goals.</li>
<li>Job Development by connect with employers and community organizations on a frequent basis to market and enrich the program and the success of the participants.</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent required. Related Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited College or University preferred.</li>
<li>Past experience working with the targeted population. 3+ years relevant work experience.</li>
<li>Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications or online database tracking systems.</li>

Overall Responsibility

Summary:
 
An Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant (IECMHC) on Calm’s Growing Together team is responsible for providing mental health consultation services to enhance the capacity of teachers, administrators, and caregivers to respond to the social-emotional and behavioral needs of children and their families. This position works across a broad range of early care and education (ECE) settings where children learn and grow. The IECMHC uses a framework of promotion, prevention, and early intervention to tailor services that address specific goals for children, families, classrooms, or programs. The consultant works within and across systems, integrating mental health practices and trauma-informed care with cultural awareness and sensitivity. The IECMHC seeks to enhance all relationships involved in the care setting to create nurturing and responsive environments and build strong school and home alliances.
