Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Provides dental care and treatment to referred patients in accordance with facility regulations and standards. </li>
<li>Performs routine cleaning, restorative dentistry, and extractions as needed. </li>
<li>Evaluates patients' dental care needs and makes clinically appropriate recommendations. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Takes impressions for dental appliances and instructs patients in good dental hygiene techniques. </li>
<li>Maintains accurate and confidential patient records and provides in-service training for health staff members. </li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications
Education
<ul>
<li>Graduate from an accredited school of dental medicine.</li>
</ul>
Experience
<ul>
<li>One year of experience in general dentistry preferred.</li>
</ul>
Licenses/Certifications
<ul>
<li>Must have and maintain current licensure as a dentist within the state of employment.</li>
<li>Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.</li>

As a Direct Care | Mental Health Workers, you will be part of a team providing medically necessary mental health treatment services and direct supervision to children and adolescents experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric problems, and/or experiencing chronic or acute mental disorders which require active treatment.

Mental Health Workers:
<ul>
<li>Provides direct supervision, leadership, and serve as a role model to clients while interacting in a therapeutic and meaningful manner.</li>
<li>Observes client behavior and intervenes appropriately, as dictated by policy and individual client treatment plan.</li>
<li>Documents client treatment interventions, behavior, and progress.</li>
<li>Reports significant client changes in behavior, attitude, and/or physical condition to appropriate personnel while consistently evaluating client behavioral and emotional issues.</li>
<li>Collaborates with the educational team and client’s Mental Health Therapist to implement the individualized treatment plan.</li>
<li>Implements the daily activity schedule and structure and coordinate client activities, such as Family Night, Structured Recreation, etc.</li>
<li>Facilitates and documents various psycho-educational groups via standardized curricula.</li>
<li>Conducts scheduled and random head counts to provide effective people security.</li>
<li>Conducts outside building security checks when working on overnight shift.</li>
<li>Completes security calls to Night Supervisor when working on overnight shift.</li>
<li>Supports the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care.</li>
<li>Demonstrates appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management techniques and skills.</li>
</ul>
Hiring Requirements:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED and two-years human service experience OR 60 college credit hours OR</li>
<li>Associate degree or bachelor's degree.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License</li>
<li>Must be 21 years of age or older</li>
<li>Must be able to pass physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening</li>
<li>Must pass criminal background check investigation</li>
<li>Flexibility to work overtime as required.</li>
