Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm (Weekends OFF)
Highlights of the position:
<ul>
<li>Demonstrates compassion, collaboration, communication, and appropriate clinical judgement in patient care.</li>
<li>Primarily supports the lab, providing patient-centered care to patients.</li>
<li>Administers prescribed medications and vaccines under the direction of the provider, including drawing of blood and processing of labs.</li>

Required:

Position Summary:
The Prevention Navigator is responsible for supporting the Harm Reduction Team. The navigator facilitates and engages individuals and communities in substance use, sexual health, and behavioral health Harm Reduction principles through the engagement of cultural events and other activities that promote healing and recovery for all people.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Develops content in collaboration with the Harm Reduction &amp; Prevention team to support events, awareness days, and observances.</li>

<li>Plans specific cultural activities and events related to prevention.</li>
</ul>

<li>Identifies opportunities to bring Wabanaki culture into harm reduction and prevention program offerings.</li>

<li>Coordinates cultural connection opportunities to support recovery-ready communities initiatives.</li>

<li>Maintains training and certifications to support program needs, including CTR (Counseling, Testing, Referral) training through ME CDC to support HIV/HCV testing and linkage to care.</li>

<li>Prepares prevention resources and educational resources on harm reduction and prevention information, opioid overdose prevention, recovery supports and connections, and more in collaboration with Harm Reduction &amp; Prevention team and manager to support identified programmatic needs.</li>

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving K-12 students across two school sites. This contract role involves working primarily with middle and high school students within a caseload of approximately 40 students.
