JOB SUMMARY
To provide therapeutic services and diagnostic services to patients.&nbsp; This is to include but is not limited to individual, group, and family therapy, mental health intakes and assessments, diagnostics, and coordination of treatment services for the patient.&nbsp; Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
<ul>
<li>Plans and delivers mental health treatment for adult, adolescent, and/or children using generally accepted psychotherapeutic modalities of treatment</li>
<li>Sees ages 6-17, with an emphasis on ages 6-12</li>
<li>Accurately assesses and diagnoses the complaints presented by the patient and develops an age-appropriate treatment plan in consultation with the patient and family, as appropriate</li>
<li>Understands and applies the diagnostic criteria in the DSM 5, ICD-10 and other current diagnostic lexicons utilized by Essentia Health</li>
<li>Makes appropriate decisions to involve others in the care of the patient and effectively engages their involvement through case conferences, consultation and/or referrals</li>
<li>Able to understand and incorporate psychiatric and psychological assessments and recommendations into the treatment plan of the patient</li>
<li>Delivers individual, group, or family therapy as prescribed by the treatment plan, continuously evaluating progress and revising the plan when indicated</li>
<li>Recognizes when maximum benefits have been attained from treatment and enlists the patient in planning for discharge</li>
<li>Ensures that treatment planning and discharge planning reflects the standards and boundaries of regulatory agencies and third party payers, including timely completion of prior authorizations</li>
<li>Accurately documents all clinical activities and treatment provided within the medical record time parameters defined by Essentia Health</li>

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

<li>Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program</li>
<li>Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech</li>
<li>Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)</li>
<li>Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations</li>
<li>Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position</li>

Preferred Qualifications:

<li>Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS)</li>

Summary:
The High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech specializes in performing invasive and non-invasive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and managing high-risk pregnancies. They ensure accurate, high-quality imaging, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide detailed findings to consulting providers while prioritizing patient education, safety, and comfort.
Essential Work Functions:
<ul>
<li>Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs</li>
<li>Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders</li>
<li>Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples</li>
<li>Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy</li>
<li>Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate</li>
<li>Observe and record patient status and progress</li>
<li>Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice</li>
</ul>
Required Essential Skills:
