Job Responsibilities for a Clinical Psychologist:
<ul>
<li>Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings.</li>
<li>Gather necessary information to conduct social histories.</li>
<li>Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Write Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) goals.</li>
<li>Determine need for additional assessments per observation and child needs.</li>
<li>Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child.</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State &amp; Federal regulations) and submit records to agency within established deadlines.</li>
</ul>
Requirements for a Clinical Psychologist:
<ul>
<li>Must have a passion for working with children and families!</li>
<li>Valid NYS Clinical Psychologist license</li>
<li>Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.</li>
<li>Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:</li>
<li>Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.</li>
<li>The ability to ascend and descend staircases.</li>
<li>The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.</li>
<li>The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.</li>
</ul>
Starting Rate: Per evaluation $166.00-$298.00 Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during theClinical PsychologistJob interview process.
