About the Role
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Patient Accounting Representative to join our team on a contract basis. This role supports timely and accurate follow-up on outstanding insurance accounts, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and Kaiser Health Plan policies.
Key Responsibilities

Process insurance claims, billing, and compensation reports

Review and manage requests for medical records and documentation
</li>

Audit and summarize data from patient records
</li>

Follow up with insurance carriers to resolve denials and rejections
</li>

Escalate complex accounts to supervisors or legal/charity care processes
</li>
<li>
Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies
</li>
<li>
Collect monies owed and manage delinquent accounts
</li>
<li>
Maintain accurate documentation and account notes
</li>
<li>
Operate standard office equipment and systems
</li>
</ul>
