<li>The physician serves as medical director for skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and participates in administrative and quality initiatives for the facilities he or she is responsible for;</li>

Pharmacy Technician Compensation

The pay for this position is $18–$22&nbsp;per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>
Work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
</li>
<li>
Locate correct medication and strength to complete picking of order
</li>
<li>
Prepare, count, label, and package pharmaceuticals for pharmacist approval
</li>
<li>
Contact prescriber offices to clarify or obtain new prescriptions on behalf of patients
</li>
<li>
Provide periodic status updates to patients
</li>
<li>
Enter prescription data accurately into system
</li>
<li>
Maintain prescription logs, inventory reports, and temperature/cleaning logs
</li>
<li>
Discard or return discontinued/expired medications and document accordingly
</li>
<li>
Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards
</li>
<li>
Support transition from ScriptMed Enterprise to ScriptMed Cloud by handling additional workload
</li>
</ul>
Pharmacy Technician Requirements
<ul>
<li>
2–4 years of pharmacy experience (retail, infusion, or medical office accepted)
</li>
<li>
Familiarity with medications used for chronic/debilitating conditions
</li>
<li>
State pharmacy technician license (Missouri or state-specific depending on location)
</li>
<li>
High School Diploma or GED
</li>
<li>
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
</li>
</ul>
Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
</li>
<li>
Experience with data entry in a pharmacy setting
</li>
<li>
Previous experience in home infusion or high-volume retail pharmacy
</li>
</ul>
