Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

<li>Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and impact on daily occupations, well-being, and quality of life.</li>
<li>Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.</li>
<li>Developing personalized treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL).</li>
<li>Assess client’s home and other environments and advise on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilities.</li>
<li>Provide recommendations for home modifications and adaptive equipment with training as needed.</li>
<li>Ensure all treatment delivered is in accordance with the established plan of care.</li>
<li>Monitor patient response to treatment intervention and modify treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate with IDT collaboration.</li>
<li>Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care is provided.</li>
<li>Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Complying with all rules, regulations, and procedures.</li>
<li>Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.</li>
