About the Position The Solar Navigator is responsible for the most client-based aspects of the assistance programs offered to income-qualified homeowners and is ideally based in a community where we have an active program. This includes client outreach, program education and promotion, pre and post-program support, and reporting on client process data. This position will also assist with income-qualified (IQ) program development activities including strategic partnership building, community meetings and presentations, and homeowner engagement. While the Navigator will primarily support projects in Denver and Boulder CO as well as Minneapolis, Minnesota, there may be opportunities to support programs in other locations within their region (CO, MN, AZ, NV, TX). <li>Build trust and rapport with clients and support them through the process of going solar.</li>
<li>Orient prospective clients into the program, including conducting solar welcome series and other education modules.</li>
<li>Respond to current and prospective program participants’ questions in the Go Solar and income-qualified programs.</li>
<li>Identify and direct key participant inquiries to the recommended resource or action step in the solar process.</li>
<li>Help homeowners and solar installers navigate incentives, rebates and grants through city, state and utility run programs</li>
<li>Assist program flow by carrying out communications with participants, installers, and program partners</li>
<li>Connect solar homeowners to advocacy, storytelling, and engagement opportunities with SUN.</li>
<li>Support collection of homeowner solar stories and media engagement with ethical story or narrative approaches.</li>
<li>Track and input participant data in spreadsheets and Salesforce </li>
</ul>
Community Engagement &amp; Outreach (25%): 
<ul>
<li>Promote the solar co-op and IQ programs in the local and regional community.</li>
<li>Work with state and national team members to develop and maintain strategic partnerships that help promote programs and serve participant needs.</li>
<li>Attend community events to promote SUN’s pilot programs.</li>
<li>Create outreach materials and ensure they are accessible, culturally sensitive, and equitable.</li>
</ul>
General support (25%): 
<ul>

<li>Review client applications to determine program eligibility.</li>

Organizational Responsibilities:
• Adhere to, support and promote St. Francis Health Services’ Mission and Core Values, philosophy, goals and objectives while conducting company business. • Maintain confidentiality of company and individual receiving services related information at all times. • Serve on, participate in, and attend various committees of the care center as appointed by the Administrator.
Individual Receiving Services Care Responsibilities:
• Does not disclose individual receiving services’ protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator. • Ensure that all care is provided in privacy, as appropriate, and to knock after entering an individual receiving services’ room or individual receiving services care area such as tub rooms. • Report all grievances and complaints made by the individual receiving services, family, or visitors to the appropriate supervisor following the care center’s established procedures. • Report to licensed staff any necessary observations made regarding potential changes in individual receiving services status, utilizing the STOP AND WATCH tool. • Participate in and receive the nursing report upon reporting to duty. • Follow written NAR procedure for designated shift. • Attend to daily care needs per each individual receiving services’ plan of care (e.g. bathing, oral care, hair care, nail care, transfers, feeding, ambulation, R.O.M., elimination needs, intake, output, catheter care, dressing, turning and repositioning, collection of specimens, weights and taking vital signs) and document the care each time it is provided. • Follow established policies/procedures for performing all cares. • Provide considerate and respectful care, preserving the personal dignity, modesty and privacy of the individual receiving services and family. • Turn all medications found in the individual receiving services’ room/possession (that are not care planned to be there) over to the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Manager. • Observe individual receiving services regularly and respond promptly to call lights. • Report changes in individual receiving services’ condition and/or normal routine including nutrition, elimination, ambulation and skin integrity. • Communicate (intra shift) with co-workers, supervisor, and DON as appropriate, regarding individual receiving services’ progress and your progress with daily individual receiving services’ care.
Individual Responsibilities:
• Report all complaints and grievances, according to company policies and procedures, which are made by the individual receiving services, family, or visitors and make a written/oral report to supervisor indicating what action(s) were taken to resolve the complaint or grievance. • Report any communicable or infectious disease that you contract to the appropriate supervisor. • Demonstrate the ability to obtain information and data in terms of individual receiving services’ needs. • Demonstrate an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these individual receiving services and ability to provide treatment. • Possess communication skills necessary to interpret age specific response to treatment.
Safety / AWAIR Responsibilities:
• Keep the call light system within easy reach of the individual receiving services. • Demonstrate and practice correct sanitation techniques, such as hand washing, proper handling of supplies, cleansing and sanitizing equipment, per policy procedure. • Participate in appropriate in-service training programs prior to performing tasks that involve potential exposure to blood/body fluids or hazardous chemicals. • Use personal protective clothing/devices/equipment when handling infectious waste and/or blood/body fluids. • Follow established policies and procedures in performance of duties such as safety, infection control and exposure to blood/body fluids. • Adhere to basic infection control practices, and use standard precautions. • Follow care center’s established policies governing safety data sheets (SDS) and the handling of hazardous chemicals. Ensure that hazardous chemicals are labeled. Report missing/illegible labels and SDSs to the appropriate supervisor. • Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials and hazardous chemicals to the Department Director. • Follow established safety policies and procedures regarding fire, weather related, and other potential disaster threats to individual receiving services and staff. • Know exact location of emergency equipment (e.g., alarms and fire extinguishers). • Participate in fire safety and disaster preparedness drills. • Wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies (e.g. back brace, mechanical lifts, etc.) when lifting or moving individual receiving services. • Report and/or correct unsafe conditions immediately. • Promptly report all accidents, errors and unusual incidents to the supervisor no matter how minor they may be. Such occurrences must be reported on the shift in which they occur. • Utilize proper body mechanics. • Operate all equipment that is used in the department and social areas accurately and in a safe manner according to established procedures. • Report defective equipment to the supervisor. • Practice nursing policies and procedures concerning individual receiving services restraints and side rails.
Regulatory Responsibilities:
• Understand and follow the Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy and reporting procedure. • Understand and adhere to Individual receiving services Bill of Rights.

Education and Experience:
