POSITION SUMMARY:
The Resident Assistant (RA) at Northside Common Ministries (NCM) plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, supportive, and orderly environment for residents. The RA is responsible for supervising residents, enforcing shelter rules, conducting safety checks, and providing assistance with daily activities and needs. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a commitment to the mission of NCM.
Duties include but are not limited to:

<li>Conduct hourly safety checks and maintain detailed logbooks. </li>
<li>Provide supervision and support to shelter residents. </li>
<li> Address and de-escalate conflicts and report incidents to the Shelter Coordinator.</li>

<li>Enforce shelter policies regarding behavior, and prohibited items. </li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and incident reports</li>
<li>Participate in shift handovers and ensure a smooth transition between shifts</li>
<li>Support residents in keeping their living areas clean and tidy</li>
<li>Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate staff</li>
<li>Be knowledgeable of and follow all applicable regulations, procedures, and policies for Goodwill of SWPA as the employment sites, including but not limited to attendance, training requirements, and safety policies and procedures</li>

<li>Ensure cleanliness and general maintenance of facility, reporting any issues to the designated staff.</li>

External Hiring Range: $15.75 up to $16.38/hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

About the Role
We are seeking a CNC Machinist Level 1 to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for candidates with hands-on experience who enjoy working in a dynamic, manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our parts meet strict quality standards. The primary purpose of this position is to assists with the set-up, operation, and programming of computer numerical control (CNC) equipment used to produce precision parts and instruments. Work performed is basic and performed under direct supervision.

What You’ll Do

<li>Supports programming machining equipment, including calculating requirements using basic math and trigonometry</li>

<li>Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations</li>

Requirements:

About the Role
We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team. This mid-level position is perfect for candidates with hands-on experience who enjoy working in a dynamic, manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our parts meet strict quality standards. The primary purpose of this position is to produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine, and maintaining safety standards.

What You’ll Do

<li>Receive blueprints, files, and documents to make CNC parts.</li>
<li>Cut material for parts as needed.</li>
<li>Machine part to length and square to size.</li>
<li>Work with a variety of calipers or micrometers.</li>
<li>Work with a variety of tools and machinery in a safe capacity. </li>
<li>Overhead Crane Operation. </li>

Requirements

<li>Read and understand blueprints. </li>
<li>Become Tow Motor certified though IGS – must hold a valid driver’s license. </li>
<li>One year of CNC Machining Experience</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and mechanical/technical aptitude.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work safely with tools and equipment.</li>
<li>Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship</li>
