Counter Salesperson / Warehouse – Plumbing Knowledge Required
Bell Supply Co. – Braddock / Pittsburgh, PA
We are seeking a reliable, Counter Salesperson / Warehouse associate to become an integral part of our team. Experience with at least some of the following is ideal: plumbing, shipping, receiving, warehouse duties, and a team-first attitude.
This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and identify their needs at the counter and by phone
- Explain products and services to customers
- Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
- Enter and process customer orders at the counter and via phone calls
- Work with customers to schedule orders and pickups
- Investigate and help resolve customer issues
- Provide friendly, professional service while taking customer sales orders
- Load and unload products for customer pickup and receiving
- Maintain an organized counter and warehouse area
- Very occasional light driving may be required
- Forklift experience is a plus; willingness to learn is required
Qualifications
- Experience working in a plumbing supply house is highly preferable
- Plumbing or trade experience is a plus
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields
- Strong attendance and punctuality are essential
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Valid PA driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to handle physical workload and lift up to 70 lbs
- High School Diploma or GED
Schedule
- Full-time, fixed weekday schedule
- Normal business hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM - No nights or weekends
- Additional hours may be offered based on performance and reliability
