We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Safety Manager to lead and manage the implementation of Absher's Safety &amp; Health Program on active construction sites across North King County.
In this role, you'll be the on-site safety expert responsible for ensuring every team member goes home safely each day. You'll plan, coordinate, and enforce safety procedures in accordance with company policies, federal and state regulations, and project-specific safety plans (including EM 385-1-1 requirements for federal and public works projects.)
You'll partner closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and craft workers to foster a proactive, people-first safety culture aligned with Absher's "See It, Own It" philosophy.
What You'll Do
<ul>
<li>Lead implementation of Absher's Safety &amp; Health Program and jobsite Accident Prevention Plans</li>
<li>Conduct regular site inspections, hazard analyses, and accident investigations</li>
<li>Enforce compliance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and all applicable safety standards</li>
<li>Provide mentorship, on-the-spot coaching, and weekly toolbox talks for field teams</li>
<li>Coordinate and review subcontractor safety plans for alignment and compliance</li>
<li>Partner with field leadership to identify and correct unsafe behaviors or conditions</li>
<li>Maintain safety records, logs, and incident documentation</li>
<li>Participate in preconstruction meetings, jobsite orientations, and handoffs</li>
<li>Serve as the "Competent Person" for multiple disciplines (fall protection, scaffolding, etc.)</li>

Minimum Qualifications

<li>24+ hours of documented competency training in construction safety within the last 4 years</li>

SCHEDULE DESCRIPTION: This position requires regular weekend and evening work in order to attend rehearsals, previews, and performances as an Assistant Stage Manager or Production Assistant (when an AEA-ASM is contracted). This position regularly involves working more than 40 hours a week, which will be compensated with overtime. 

POSITION SUMMARY 
Studio’s Stage Management Fellow will have a unique opportunity to learn through working as an Assistant Stage Manager and as a member of the run crew in a non-profit regional theatre setting. The Fellow will work with multiple professional AEA Production Stage Managers (PSM) throughout the duration of the program, working on all productions from prep week to handing off the show before the next production starts. In rehearsal, the Fellow will prepare rehearsal and performance paperwork, coordinate rehearsal properties and costumes, be on book, track and distribute line notes, and interact with other members of the production department. During performances the Fellow will manage all backstage show operations, including managing additional run crew and wardrobe. When an AEA-ASM is contracted, the Stage Management Fellow will be the Production Assistant and work under the AEA-ASM. The Fellows participates in a career-building curriculum while gaining exposure to all areas of the theatre operations.
