Qualification Requirements: Requires a minimum of an earned Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, or relevant psychology field from an accredited university or institution; experience in graduate-level teaching and mentorship, curriculum design, and research; demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in an inclusive manner; exceptional interpersonal skills; outstanding written and oral communication skills; academic accomplishments, reflected by scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals appropriate to the academic rank; and active membership and involvement in scholarly societies.
The successful candidate must be academically qualified for a faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in accordance with SOM and USU academic policies.

Assistant Professor of Sociology - Housing/Homelessness

The Residential College in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts at the University of Michigan <a href="http://www.rc.lsa.umich.edu/" target="_blank">http://www.rc.lsa.umich.edu/</a> is seeking applicants for a full-time Lecturer III to teach courses in the Drama Program and to serve as the head of this program. This is a full time, non-tenure track position with a university-year appointment period beginning January 1, 2024. The Residential College (RC) Drama Program (<a href="https://lsa.umich.edu/rc/current-students/curriculum/drama.html" target="_blank">https://lsa.umich.edu/rc/current-students/curriculum/drama.html</a>) offers introductory and advanced courses in the history, theory, and practice of theatre. The program offers a major and a minor, in which students learn about and practice many aspects of play production from devising and design to acting and directing. Class sizes tend to be small. The successful candidate will serve as head of this program and faculty advisor to the Drama major and teach five courses throughout the academic year (fall and winter terms). These courses will contribute primarily to the Drama Program but could also contribute to other RC programs, such as the Arts and Ideas Program (the RC humanities major) or the First-year Seminar Program (intensive writing courses that satisfy the first-year writing requirement). Additional duties include participation in college- and program-wide activities. The RC Drama Program differs from other performance programs on campus in its commitment to socially engaged theatre, social justice, and community engagement. Some courses enable students to explore theatre in collaboration with local schools, prisons, or public-housing communities. RC Drama courses often integrate textual analysis and performance practices and teach theatre history by staging previously written texts and exploring applied theatre by devising original performances. Candidates in all areas of performance research or practical theatre are welcome to apply. Administrative Responsibilities The responsibilities of the program head for the Drama Program are listed below; these extend throughout the academic year. - Hold regular meetings of the faculty in the program to review and revise the Drama major and minor. - Oversee the course offerings and curriculum management of the program each year, including review of syllabi and course descriptions. - Provide academic advising to students enrolled in the Drama major and minor. - Interact with the RC Academic Services office to coordinate advising of students in the RC Drama Program. - Advise the RC Administrative team and Executive Committee on program needs and accomplishments. - Attend meetings of the RC Curriculum Planning Committee as a representative of the Drama Program. - Serve as faculty mentor to the student organization, RC Players. Expectations The successful candidate will have expertise and background in theater performance, including acting and/or directing. Established expertise in academic disciplines and performance appropriate to the years in the candidate’s field is expected, as well as expertise and background in teaching undergraduates in a wide range of dramatic literature. Requirements Minimum: MFA in a theatre or performance field; MA in Drama, Performance Studies or Theatre Studies, or advanced degree in an interdisciplinary arts program relevant to theatre. Additional experience in directing, acting, playwriting, design or dramaturgy is preferred. University of Michigan LSA Collegiate Fellowship Program

The Arnold School of Public Health (ASPH) and the College of Nursing (CON) at the University of South Carolina (USC) invite applications for six tenure-track faculty positions as part of the inaugural NIH-funded USC FIRST FIIRRE program. The multi-year NIH FIRST (Faculty Institutional Recruitment for Sustainable Transformation) initiative intends to enhance inclusive excellence at competitively determined institutions across the United States. In the context of USC's strategic plan, the FIRST FIIRRE (Faculty Initiative for Improved Recruitment, Retention, and Experience) team has developed a tailored strategy to achieve significant and sustainable institutional culture change by implementing institutional programs and practices that support inclusive excellence. As part of the FIRST FIIRRE cluster recruitment, USC seeks diverse candidates from all areas of public health and nursing who (1) have a research focus on health disparities or inequities within their respective discipline, (2) have a strong record of promoting diversity and inclusive excellence, and (3) have not previously held a tenure-track position.
Successful candidates will have a primary tenure track appointment in either ASPH or CON with the possibility of joint/secondary appointments to other units. These appointments feature 75% protected research time until receipt of tenure and will be expected to contribute to the teaching and service mission of USC. The FIRST program is especially interested in candidates from groups who are underrepresented in the biomedical, clinical, behavioral, and social sciences, such as racial and ethnic minoritized populations, those from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds, individuals with disabilities, and women.
 USC is a comprehensive university and has received the top ranking by the Carnegie Foundation as an institution with "Highest Research Activity and Community Engagement." International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is a leader in the University of Minnesota’s goal to be a top global learning environment for all its students and scholars.&nbsp; The Associate Director of Student Advising and Counseling leads the ISSS student advising and counseling staff that provide student immigration advising, several engagement programs, crisis management, funding, academic and personal counseling, an international student and scholar tax program, and the issuance of initial and subsequent student documents. The Associate Director mentors and supports the professional development and success of the advising and counseling staff. The Associate Director is the Principal Designated School Official, providing leadership and consultation for staff, campus departments, and system campuses on complex international student matters. The Associate Director is a member of the ISSS leadership team and with others on the leadership team, serves as the Director in absence of the Assistant Dean/Director of ISSS.
