<li>Troubleshoot and repair of equipment both in-house and at customer sites after analyzing mechanical, electrical and software failures.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Disassemble malfunctioning dental devices and use standardized testing procedures; examine and test mechanisms for defects.</li>
<li>Replace or repair defective parts which may require modification or replacement components.</li>
<li>Reassembles dental devices or equipment and tests assembly for conformance to specifications.</li>
<li>Maintain an inventory of materials, including electrical, mechanical, and optical components for the field servicing of customer devices.</li>
<li>Inspect devices and test equipment periodically and adjust calibration to ensure functioning within specified standards.</li>
<li>Complete in a timely manner, standard equipment documentation and reports necessary for FDA compliance.</li>
<li>Provide customers with timely and accurate technical information in a positive and straight forward manner.</li>
<li>When needed, provide training to dental office staff on the set up and maintenance of the dental laser.</li>

Qualifications:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>High school diploma/GED</li>
<li>Previous experience in a Field Service capacity, a minimum of 3 years’ experience solving problems with computer hardware, software and medical devices preferred</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of electro-mechanical systems (lasers and optics valued)</li>
<li>ASEE or equivalent technical education</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills</li>
<li>Able to work independently</li>
<li>Physical ability to stand and sit for extended periods and lift and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs.</li>
<li>May require after hours telephone support or on-call availability</li>
<li>MS Office Suite experience required</li>
<li>Experience in Dental or Medical practices reliant on advanced technologies a plus</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and clean driving record</li>
<li>The ability to travel where needed, depending on location, could be by car or plane</li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>1-2 years of crane service technician or relevant trade experience (electrical, mechanical, etc).</li>
<li>Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrate the ability to learn mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills.</li>
<li>Candidate must be willing to travel and work in production environments, with some overnight travel possible.</li>
<li>Ability to operate company phone and computer.</li>
<li>Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Ability to work extended hours, and on holidays, as required.</li>
