<li>Understanding of basic electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic theory.</li>
<li>Proficiency in electronic and basic electrical and mechanical print reading.</li>

<li>Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license.</li>
<li>Must be able to drive throughout the organizations service area for business as required.</li>

This 4-day course covers the tasks that an operator, technician, engineer or programmer needs to setup, record and/or troubleshoot programs on a FANUC Robot using HandlingTool Software.
 
Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

<li>Teach Frames</li>
<li>Recover from common program and robot faults</li>
<li>Execute production operations</li>
<li>Create, modify and execute a material handling program</li>
<li>Create and use position offsets</li>
<li>Create and execute MACROs</li>
<li>Monitor, force and simulate input and output signals</li>
<li>Backup and restore individual programs and files</li>
</ul>
The course consists of lectures, chapter reviews, demonstrations, and a series of lab exercises designed to reinforce what the student has learned. In addition to lab exercises, a pre-test and a post-test are used to measure mastery of objectives.
