We are seeking enthusiastic applicants for our Summer Camp Technology Teacher and Assistant positions! Tech Academy teaches week-long technology classes throughout Minnesota.
Ideal applicants for Teacher positions are college students/graduates with experience with elementary-age children or licensed teachers. Ideal applicants for Assistant positions are tech-savvy high school or college students or those qualified for the Lead Teacher position looking for a more relaxed role in the classroom. As a teacher or assistant, you will be driving to your site, typically a school or community education building. You will be responsible for bringing 2-3 plastic bins of equipment per class, which you will set up in a classroom before students arrive. You will need a vehicle to transport class equipment. Our headquarters location is in Roseville, Minnesota. Training and equipment exchange is held at our headquarters. Teachers/Assistants will be required to visit the headquarters every 1 to 3 weeks during the summer.
Training and Equipment:

SPECIAL EDUCATION COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
<ul>
<li>Managing a caseload of special education students and the implementation of their IEP/504 plans in: inclusive, self-contained and pull-out settings.</li>
<li>Ensuring appropriate delivery of both special education instruction and related services as stipulated on IEPs/504 plans.</li>
<li>Ensuring compliance by the school with all local and Federal laws and regulation relating to students with IEPs/504 plans and students referred to special education.</li>
<li>Ensuring that services provided by contractual personnel are of high quality, provided in the LRE, and are aligned with students IEPs/504 plans.</li>

<li>Coordinating with special education team to complete quarterly IEP progress reports and provide quarterly IEP progress reports to parents/guardians.</li>

<li>Providing training and technical assistance to case managers, teachers, related service providers and support service professionals on all aspects of cases management: use of computer systems for the special education process, writing of goal writing, progress reports, annual reviews and parent communication.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS
